Got a pair of these to go on my new 2019 (new body style) Silverado 1500. Wanted something other than the frame the dealership included, so I got these. Read the messages about getting the version with the Z71 at the top and have no regrets. Leaves the state name unobstructed this way. I used the included screw caps with the frame on the front license plate (I'm in NH) since all four screws were used (I also use stainless screws ordered a while back). Didn't bother to use the caps on the rear since I could only put the top screws in (nothing to hold the lower screws in place).For reference, I have the LTZ Z71 double cab in silver metallic. Most excellent truck.

Superior quality metal, not plastic, great holder, would buy again!
So heavy duty. I had no idea how good the quality was going to be. It’s metal and painted very well.

Only one plate. Not worth the $
i made a mistake by ordering this. Didnt realize it was only one plate. Fyi, you can get two from other sellers for the same price.Also did not come with proper screws to fit the black caps.

Paint fade
Paint fade on the red Z and the black part is starting to look bad.

I am pleased with the plate holder
I couldn't use the black screw caps because the screws that fit my plate holder were hex head. Otherwise, I am pleased with the plate holder. Make sure you get the 4 bolt plate holder for the rear plate.

Get the Z71 on top.
Get with Z71 on top or you won’t be able to see it because the bottom of the plate will be tucked in behind the rear bumper about 1/2”. Also, get the screws with the short heads so the screw caps will fit.

Nice product.
Looks good on my 2017 Z71. The included caps don't work with the stock license plate screws. Make sure to get the plate with the "Z71" on top, otherwise it will be blocked by the rear bumper.
