Therapist's ChoicePatella Knee Strap, Universal Size

What I mean when I say uncomfortable to wear is that the strap that goes behind your knee/leg. It hurts and can poke at your knee. It also can make it uncomfortable to move when you wear the strap. Other than that I think it worked well. I have tendonitis in my knee from an incident so I got this. It helped in reducing my pain. Overall though I wish I never bought it.

I have never used a patella knee strap before this but after discovering I had patella tendinitis I figured I'd give it a try.When I ordered it I had been experiencing extreme pain everyday no matter what I was doing.It hurt to stand up after sitting down for any length of time.Standing for too long caused pain.Running? Out of the question - which made me feel terrible when my toddlers wanted me to run around the park with them.Even walking hurt way too much.It even hurt just laying down.I started wearing this all day everyday for a couple weeks and, coupled with leg strengthening exercises 3 or 4 times a week and daily ice applications, I no longer feel the same amount of pain. I now only wear the strap when engaging in medium to heavy exercise or sporting events.When I was wearing it everyday I would have to take little breaks and flip the strap around so that it looped on the other side of my knee - otherwise it tended to get a little too uncomfortable. I have tried expensive braces and patella bands in the past. They have all failed me. I gave this one a shot on a friend's recommendation. I was very skeptical at the value... how could a $6 band do what hundreds of dollars of products couldn't do?I was shocked. This is a great product! It works great and fits my large legs! I have been using it for over a month and am very happy with my purchase! I can even wear it under my scrubs at work and get relief without announcing got the world I am wearing it! It is very comfortable for the most part. I think if my legs were thinner it would be 5/5 stars for comfort.

Not sure why or how this works, but it does. I wasn't able to walk up or down the stairs, because my knee cap felt like it wanted to pop out of place. Tried other braces, but they didn't help. This was my last resort before going to the doctor. As soon as I put it on, I could use the stairs without pain. It is easy to put on. It is thin enough to wear under pants or capris. Highly recommend.

I like that it's adjustable. It's comfortable to wear. The padding is not too thick, but it's enough to do the job.

Bought this knee assist to replace an older Nike version. Found this patella supporter to be as good or better than the name brand one...and priced right as well. Nike is higher priced but I haven't found it to be better than Therapists Choice. Would definitely by this item again. Would recommend it as well. Feels great in place. Doesn't bind or slip down. Good product.

I bought this with my doctors recommendation to help with my patellar tendonitis and it works. I have larger legs and its a little tight but not unbearable.

It seems to work good so far although if worn on bare skin it gets very irritating and sweaty for me. If worn over my pants I really think it does help for petellar tracking problems
