My Colourful Friends: A Wee World Full of Creatures (Wee Gallery Cloth Books)

Great little 'stroller book.' A lot of the cloth books for babies are flat out ugly but this tiny book is adorable. Short and sweet with a crinkly cover.

While the illustrations are adorable, I don't feel comfortable giving this to my baby to play with. My copy had fuzz sewn into the strap and bits keep falling out but I can't remove it all because it was sewn in. The velcro is sticking out quite a bit because it was crooked and it wasn't attached very well at all and I genuinely feel like it could be a choking risk because the stitching was all bunched up and not very well attached. The little colorful tabs had a residue feel to them and looked pretty beat up. I tried washing them off but they had a really unpleasant feel to them and were stained looking and pages of our book had stains on it as well.

This is a cute stroller/car seat toy if you are looking for a more modern, minimalist style. There are no bells and whistles, so to speak, which makes it less tacky than many children’s items. However, this simpler design does come at the cost of reduced child interest (at least for my child). My child has been less engaged with this stroller book, especially compared to others that include brighter colors and more texture variety. It also began looking dirty pretty quickly due to the white background; the benefit is that it is easy to see when it needs cleaning but the disadvantage is that it often looks like it needs cleaning. With this information in mind, I am unlikely to purchase this product again, for my family or as a gift. However, because it includes lovely artistry, is of good quality, and will suit the taste of many families, I have deducted only one star.

This is a cute and basic cloth book and basically what I expected. When I gave it to my 12 month old she was immediately into it and started flipping the pages and playing with the little tags. The pages are very noisy and crinkly, which is something my little one loves as well as the taggies. I love that I can secure it to the stroller since she's in that annoying stage of throwing everything. So far she hasn't figured out how to take it off of the stroller. This is great for the stroller, car or just to have in the diaper bag for quick entertainment.

Cute soft book for babies. Front and back cover are crinkly for interest. Has a short velcro strap for hanging on a stroller or other transport item (car seat?). This is your pretty basic cloth baby book.Only downside is that animals such as a lady bug are listed as red but the ink is kind of washed out so it looks orange. The “brown” snail looks pretty gray. Baby’s learning probably won’t be impacted by it, but thought I should note it. Took a star for this just so others aren’t surprised.

This book was a big hit with the baby and mom to whom I gifted it. I learned about "baby paper" -- apparently, something invented after my own children were born. This book has a fair amount of baby paper crinkle, which her baby is indeed obsessed with. So this was a big hit. I don't know if baby appreciates the beautiful colors in it yet, but mom does. It's lovely to look at and made of good quality fabric that seems like it will last through this baby if not another one. Great gift or purchase for baby.

The only thing the cigarette companies got right was their philosophy of "Start'em young and you'll have'em for life". So true. Here's a wonderful starter book for the tiny ones. It's a stroller book with velcro ties that attach it to your stroller so your child cannot drop it overboard. The illustrations are colorful and the 4 two sided pages have a crinkly tactile feel.I wish it came with washing instructions. I think that wiping with a cloth and then towel drying should work.

This is a cute little book for the stroller. First it comes in a nice little container that reminds me of some candy boxes. It would be nice to give it as a gift. I like the carry loop at the top, the crinkle pages, the bright colors, and the different animals. The animals included are a red ladybug, yellow bee, blue bird, orange cat, green grasshopper and brown snail. Overall very nice book for toddlers.
