Emblem is very low profile. Don't let that surprise you. It can be easily bent, so make sure to handle with care until you mount it. Initial quality impressed me, and so far it is staying in place. This should go without saying, but prep the area so the emblem adheres better to surface of vehicle. Seller took TLC in shipping emblems. I will adjust rating if anything bad happens, but so far so good.

Edit: it's been on my truck for almost 2 years, and looks as good as the day I put it on. I assumed it'd weather, fade, and peel. Multiple car washes and road grime haven't made a difference!!I expected it to be thicker and domed like the original ford badges, which it definitely is not. Once I got the original off, and spent a LOT of time removing the original adhesive, it stuck flat against the tailgate and looked good.I just put it on, so I can't speak to its durability. If it falls off like one of the other review states, I'll update and lower my star rating.

Very simple to place on vehicle. They have a high quality look and strong adhesion.

Haven't put it on yet (dealing with frozen MN winters), but it looks like a nice piece. I plan on removing my peeling "Flex Fuel" badge on the tailgate and putting this in its place. I don't know why, but I expected a thick piece of aluminum (or aluminum coated plastic) like the Flex Fuel badge. Keep in mind, it's a piece of tin essentially, which is fine, but it threw me off when I opened it.UPDATE: Just had a warm day here and got it put on my truck. Looks good! I don't expect any issues with it holding up.
