Works fine
Update -- I've had it for 4 years now, continues to function well. I use it about every 10 days. I just noticed that it has a yogurt setting. I've been using the microwave and guessing (getting good results), but I'm going to try it. I just posted a question about how? Quantity, per-heat milk or not. Hope seller will answer. Wish it had manual, but I've not had a problem. Beef and pork may need twice the settings to get really tender. Original post -- Got it quickly and use it the next day after delivery. It does make cooking easier, which means I'll cook more. There is a saute feature that lets you brown meat, onions or whatever with the lid off. That's what I wanted. It's good to have the light insert pot to wash and not to have to worry that I'll drop a heavy cast iron cooker on the counter or in the sink and crack them. The heaviness is one reason I used my regular pressure cooker infrequently. I found the touch screen controls intuitive, no problem. I'm 68 and sometimes find new things frustrating, but this was OK. It cut the cooking time in half, at least, and produced tender beef for 2 in 20 minutes. I released the pressure, added veggies, and cooked with lid off for 3 min. I don't like overcooked broccoli or green beans. It's so good to have the freedom to walk away from the stove and know the food finished cooking without me.

Quality Cooker - Read before purchase
The cooker is very good quality. As using an electric one is new to me, I did experience a couple of problems. First, I am a vegetarian and bought this because of the reviews. Beans were my first attempt to cook with it. After 16 minutes of getting up to pressure and temperature, the time of 39 minutes displayed on the pad. My friend has a new electric pressure cooker and hers cooked her beans, after getting to pressure, in 14 minutes perfectly. I decided to see what would happen; overdone, very mushy, and half disintegrated. The manual that comes has no times for anything so a person has to wait to see what comes up with the setting after it gets to pressure. It will not display cooking time until you reach pressure using automatic settings. I have not tried to manually set it to see if it gives the cooking time on the pad before you begin, as other cookers will from my research after the fact. I did not know this one would not tell you the cooking time at the start. The second problem was the stainless pot 'blued' in the bottom center but I resolved that myself--no problem. For meat eaters I believe the automatic settings are perfect in timing. I did read on a Chinese website where they put the beans in dry and cook them; maybe that is why 39 minutes for the bean setting--I had soaked mine overnight. I'm going to try them dry and see what happens; I have the ratio of beans to water and will experiement with a small amount.Anyway, I contacted the seller personally and he was very, very kind, patient, and courteous; he bent over backwards to help resolve my issue with cooking times. He did contact the manufacturer and obtained a time table for each setting; he said he was going to suggest to them to include that with every unit and I hope he did because it would be a big help to 'newbies' on the block, whether you are a vegetarian or a meat eater :-). If anyone has a problem with the times, please contact the seller personally, he will give you the time chart; be kind to him. I am going to now cook different vegetables, and beans, going by the chart.I want to add that this is a very nice cooker; my husband thought so, too, and wants to master using it. I bought it because of the reviews, even though it mainly had meat settings, because I read how it could be programmed manually. This has been a real learning experience for me and I am thankful. By the way, though the beans were mushy they were delicious; I turned it into a soup of beans, Chinese broccoli, and seasonings. Three of us ate the soup and it was wonderful! A pressure cooker definitely makes the food taste better. Hey, chefs become good chefs through practice. :-)Last thing, this cooker-with the time chart-I would recommend for anyone to purchase. As with anything new and in uncharted territory you have to be patient and learn how to use it. I'm going to follow my own advice and my husband's--he is a good cheerleader. :-)

This is such a wonderful pressure cooker
This is such a wonderful pressure cooker, the best I have ever own. First, the control panel is perfectly designed. All the pre-programmed cooking functions are there with just one touch to start which is very convenient. I used the pre-set function to set the cooker before I went to bed last night and this morning we had a warm breakfast ready for my family without the usual hassle. As a mother with kids running around in the house, what I need most is a pressure cooker that's easy to use. I do not want a pressure cooker that I have to adjust the pressure or calculate how long to cook every time. I just want to put my ingredients and press one button for rice, soup etc then I can go drink coffee or do laundry without watching it closely. And this cooker does exactly that. What's the point of getting an AUTOMATIC pressure cooker when you have to adjust everything every time you cook?Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I have bought three items from the same seller in the past and it has always been very satisfactory! Thumbs up again!!

I've only used this once and it worked out great. There are some translation confusions and the recipes are in metric so it's going to take some trial and error experiences to get it right. I like the looks and quality of the appliance and time will tell regarding overall satisfaction.

The control panel is HORRIBLE.. Seems there is no way to just set it for 30 minutes on 15 PSI. Seems you can not control the minutes it's set for, nor know what PSI you set it for..The control panel has 7 pressure selections and 3 duration selections with no readout to tell you how long or what pressure which selection is for! If a recipe calls for 40 minutes at 15 PSI, it can't be done with this pressure cooker! If you set it to 4/shorter you need to wait till the pressure builds until it tells you it's set for 24 minutes. When you out it on 6/shorter, the time changes to 28 minutes. And with the settings, you really have no way of knowing what PSI it is at.The cooker might be OK but you give up all control of time and pressure
