THEY ACTUALLY ARE BETTER THAN BEATS!
I own the R1M's and love them. I bought the S1's too. They exceeded all my expectations in this price range. These are no different. They are solidly constructed. They come with a nice case, and basic fit kit (S,M,L, and double flange) of silicone tips. They do a good job of sealing outside noise out with the right fit. I bought monster gel super tips and got an excellent seal. The sound is warm and full bodied with no distortion even at higher volumes. The bass is very good but does not overpower the mids or highs. The microphone works fine on my Galaxy Note 4 (android 5 os). They are very comfortable for long term listening. This company needs to make a 3 and 4 driver model. I will buy those too. I own some very expensive Polk, Klipsch, Shure, Harmon Kardon, Sony, and Yamaha, earbuds. Lately there are a lot of very good competitors in this price range. These are a steal at 45.00 and easily match or outperform many of the name brand products I own. I don't just listen to music, I watch movies, and game as well. These are up to all that I do. Now if they go for the audiophile with 3 or 4 drivers and detachable cables the competing companies will be in trouble. These earbuds are not cheaply built. They are of solid construction. I did not find the mid range suffered as some other reviewers. I have been using them with lossless mp3 players, Google Tunes, an IPOD, a Note 4, and Note Tab S, I have also used them with an amp and in each instance observed solid performance. They absolutely do not need an amp. The difference is measurable but barely noticeable. They are detailed without it. If you adjust your equalizer the sound will be fine for your preferences. Use your SAMSUNG ADAPTIVE SOUND for great results. I've tried many others but keep coming back to these earbuds.

Poor quality and sound
Very poor headphones. I was extremely disappointed in many aspects, including quality of the wire, fit (with all tips), packaging, and especially the sound. Because the fit was so poor I was unable to get a good seal and everything sounded extremely tinny. I returned these with the swiftness. There are many better headphones out there at this price. I especially enjoy the Sennheiser CX3.00. They are the updated version of the CX300 II and have a slightly more clear sound signature. Try them out, they are similarly priced.

These are just okay. I was looking for a cheaper replacement to some Etymotic headphones and chose these because of the good reviews. The earbuds are large, and don't stay in my ear. I tried all of the flanges supplied, and even tried adding Comply foam ear tips. In the end I bit the bullet and ordered another pair of Etymotics at a higher price.

Excellent Earphones for Bass
After a lot of googling, I settled upon these earphones. I was in the market for a relatively cheap pair of earphones that would provide me a lot of bass. Right out of the box, I am not disappointed. I listen to a lot of trance and progressive music, so I wanted earphones that would provide good bass but not overwhelm the other parts of the song. They absolutely deliver. I immediately played a few songs from Arty, Seven Lions, and Above & Beyond. All of them sounded excellent.A couple of other things:- The noise isolation is pretty good. I was snapping my fingers right next to my ear and could barely hear the sound.- It comes in a little gray carrying case. Inside is one baggy with the headphones and another with a few extra pairs of tips for the earphones.- The cord isn't very long. It's standard for earphones. I also got an extension cable because I plan on using these mostly with my desktop. If you are just going to use them with a laptop or smartphone, it's long enough.- The earphones themselves seem to be just made of plastic, so I don't know how durable they are.- The cord is seems to be braided and pretty durable.- On the right earphone is a microphone. It also has buttons for changing the volume as well as answering calls. That's about it for now. I'll update this if anything goes wrong. I'm also not sure if they'll be any better after a burn in or how they stand up to wearing them for a few hours straight. I'll be using them for an extended period of time, so I'll let you guys know.

Bad buttons.
Sound quality seems pretty good but...Gave it one star because the buttons for volume/play/pause seem broken after two days of using these. I only used them briefly and gently. They stopped working and now they keep pressing things on their own. It'll just turn my music down all of the way on its own or activate Google randomly etc. It's a shame. Will be returning.
