Loftus novelty was founded in 1939. The first shop was a tiny hole in the wall located in down town Salt Lake city. Loftus novelty was the first business in Salt Lake city to offer novelty and magic to the public.

Very poor quality
I was so excited when I found this. I bought for my son for Christmas and in less than five minutes it broke. Really disappointed in the quality of this product.

We have many lightsabers that have lasted for YEARS of our kids' abuse, but this one broke within the week. It was cheaper than the ones we tend to get but chose it for its unique design. We knew it might not last, the kids were really bummed at how quickly it died.

It's okay. I'm not a fan of the fact the color changes when it's swung around. I was purposely looking for one that did not do that and the product details for this product say that the color remains.
