Easier than I thought and works perfectly!
Worked perfectly!! I didn’t have to remove the shaft, I just put the parking brake on, pushed the pin in place to move the gear to D3 (so I had more room to work with) and with the help of a mirror I was able to install it myself! Getting the spring to line up with the pin was tricky but I was able to figure it out within ten minutes and I’m not mechanically inclined at all.

Saved me a couple of hundred bucks
Seems good quality and works perfectly once I installed it. 5 stars. Plastic seems more heavy duty than the original too, but not sure if it is because the old one was exposed to the sun and heat and weakened it.

Part Worked, But No Instructions.
The part arrived within the promised time window. There were no directions included with the part. Reading customer reviews, apparently there are instructions included from other online sellers. Watched one or two YouTube videos that were somewhat helpful, but by no means complete. Got the old knob out with little difficulty. Hardest part putting in the new part was figuring out how to align the spring and pin. I had to position the spring in the new piece, gently insert the piece into its position while making sure the spring did not move and the slide the pin through the aligned holes in the gear shift and new piece, hoping the pin would also pass through the spring. This last action was basically a blind move. Had to repeat a few times until I got it right. Still, saved me well over $100 doing it myself.

too hard to replace
I just ended up getting the whole shifter knob due to the difficulty replacing this. If you do try this, then go ahead and remove the whole shifter to do it and maybe you will have better luck, but also the rest of the plastic on the shifter was falling apart as I was trying to install this.
