How to brick it.
Works great, second time around. Just don't update the firmware, It will brick it.

added a second camera to an older SKYLINK.NET circa 9/2020 system
1. the microSD slot is problematic, since it has a cheap housing. What can happen is your microSD may fall into the eyeball part of the camera. 2. the base station stop working plus four years and five months. After the second camera was added to the system 1/14/24 the Skylink main box died on 2/6/24. I elected to get different cams that seem less cheaply made and integrated.

Good camera to have through out house.
EASY TO INSTALL! Make sure use 2G wifi. Works well with SkylinkNet system. Only installed inside house. Glad I bought them. I have Several through out house. Yes you need a SD card if you want to record. Can move around to see the whole room even behind it. Good in the dark. I do wish it had a zoom function.

Good tech support.
I can not believe what just happen. I called skylinknet support, asked them to help me get the port address for my new SkylinkNet camera wc-400ph so I can get it to work from a remote site and they said sorry sir but there is no port address for the WC-400ph ??? How are you suppose to use it to check on your house when your not home ??? Time to find a different company. Good by to all my SkylinkNet devices.

Works perfect. You will not be able to use memory card with Skylink software. Other than that it controls just fine and will store a limited amount of snapshots that you take using the software.

works every time we check our video cam from the phone app. two way sound works great, and our cats love it when we call them via the camera. good quality product and reasonably priced, compared to other brands. we also have d-link cameras, and this product works way better than the d-link cameras we have. it is easy to install and operate, unlike the d-link cameras. it also automatically connects back to the internet when your internet goes up/down.

Imagen aparece de inmediato con la App SkylinkNet y no se traba como con otras cámaras Web y apps de otras marcas

Bought the WC-400PH camera. The Good: The picture is decent and the tilt and pan works. The Bad: The audio feature that let's you listen is terrible, it is very quiet and distorted. The microphone feature does not work. When you turn the mic on to talk, the camera makes a cracking/popping noise for a few seconds and then the app crashes. So if you're buying this because of the two way audio communication, you're going to be disappointed. The manufacturer needs to update the camera firmware or the Android app in order to get this working as advertised.

720p Camera that is both wired and wifi with pan and tilt. Worked beautifully and install easily. Night mode works decent. Indoor use obviously. Speaker and microphone are okay. Great for talking to your pets or surprising someone lol.

To be clear, this review is for the Skylink WC-400PH Wireless IP Indoor Pan & Tilt HD Camera. It seems that this product has mixed in many positive reviews for a different product. If you’re going to buy the Skylinknet security system, please don’t waste your money on their very poor quality camera because it's essentially useless, especially if you want it for motion recording. The main problems are: motion detection doesn’t work (it just records in 15-minute intervals), iPhone app often crashes, app has had very few updates and still doesn’t support dark mode, very poor support, no camera motion alerts, etc. If you need inexpensive cameras, motion detection, and alerts, I suggest Wyze cameras. I really wish I could get my money back. I am going to attempt a third support conversation before publishing a scathing blog post on the Skylinknet products. They could be a lot better if it wasn’t for their apparent lack of interest in improving their products. UPDATE: February 2021 I see that Skylink Net has updated the camera but maintained the same model number. What a strange decision considering the previous model was literally unusable. I am still annoyed that Skylink Net choose to complain about my complaint, rather than trying to help me. I won't forget that! Possibly the worst support I've ever experienced. Although the whole security system still works, I am planning to replace the entire system because of my bad support experience and more so, the lack of updates or new products in three years. The Pan/Tilt camera still doesn't work and just trying now... no, not working, I get the error, "The camera is not Online, please check the camera settings."
