I frequently buy Rocky Road candy bars and know how they are supposed to taste and what size they should be. Recently, I ordered some from Global Candy and noticed that they were flat, whereas they are usually thick. When I opened one and took a bite, I immediately noticed a gas smell and a chemical taste coming from the candy. I knew something wasn’t right right away. I started feeling sick, so I called Amazon to report the defective candy bars. I didn’t want replacements because I was worried I would receive the same issue again. Amazon assured me they would issue a refund within 24 to 48 hours and didn’t ask me to return the bars, so I discarded them, believing I would be refunded. However, the owner of Global Candy refused to take responsibility for the defective candy and declined to issue a refund. I had to buy candy from another company. With the bars being flat, smelling like gas, tasting like chemicals, and making me sick, I felt it was necessary to discard them. As of about 10 days later, I still have not received my refund after being told by Amazon i would be refunded in 1-2 days.

This candy arrived in a timely manner packaged so no damage occurred during shipping. I would recommend this seller. The chocolate marshmallow bars were great.

It’s my favorite, great texture and delicious. Lots of flavor,perfect size. It’s yummy.

I was getting worried that I wouldn’t be able to get my favorite candy bar since the manufacturing facility closed on the West Coast last year!!!! I was happy to learn that just the West Coast factory closed, but still wasn’t readily available in stores for about 5 months!!! I found this available on Amazon!!! It arrived fresh and delicious as ever !!! Very happy with my purchase and will purchase again!!!!

These are disgusting! Rocky Road has been my favorite candy bar forever. However something has drastically changed! They are less than 1/3 of the thickness they use to be. Marshmallow was always light & fluffy it’s now tough & difficult to chew. It has nothing to do with freshness as the wrapper reflects the thinness. So disappointed!
