In my opinion George did an outstanding job in this movie, I know what some film critics said about it but I believe the critics missed the point of the movie, THis is a movie I will treasure for the rest of my life,Mr. Strait is an Iconic Singer with a very well rounded career.

Are you needing a family movie night? What a wonderful choice this was!

Pure Country ist seit Jahren mein absoluter Lieblings-Film. Das erste Mal habe ich ihn in den USA gesehen. George Strait ist ja ohnehin DER Country Superstar überhaupt.Die Handlung ist ebenso "pure Country" wie die Umgebung. Man wird mitgenommen in eine uns Deutschen manchmal doch recht fremde Welt.In den USA gibt es jedoch TATSÄCHLICH diese kleinen Orte, in denen die Welt stillzustehen scheint. Und genau dorthin verschlägt es den Film-Countrysänger Dusty, der niemand geringerer ist als Superstar George Strait.Viel supertolle Musik (unter anderem die Hits "Heartland", "When did you stop living me" und "I cross my heart"), eine echte Country-Handlung- einfach Country pur. Oder eben: Pure Country!Ich fand es toll, als das Video endlich auch bei uns über Amazon angeboten wurde und habe natürlich sofort zugeschlagen!Auch wenn man vielleicht des englischen nicht ganz so mächtig ist, dieser Film lebt allein schon durch die viele Musik. Und die Handlung bekommt man irgendwie mit!
