The candlesticks look good on my "fall" table. They were extremely easy to assemble... just screw the long stick into the base, and then screw the top holder onto the stick. I had no issues will ill fitting pieces. However, I will say that I am disappointed in the weight of the candlesticks. I guess I was just expecting something a bit more substantial. I had found a similar set at Target for a bit cheaper. But, they were a little more fussy in their design. These candlesticks are rather dainty. I wanted the more simplistic look, so I went for these. I am having second thoughts now. These may be going back.UPDATE: Well, I went to Target and picked up the set there. They are significantly more substantial, and in my opinion, better looking. Since I now had a comparison, I went ahead and decreased my rating to two stars. This set is definitely being returned.

These candlesticks are cheap do not waste your money!!! The sticks are thin and not sturdy. The black color is spray painted uneven, showing patches of the original metal color. There is foam on the base of the candlesticks that is cut way too big leaving the sticky glue exposed, so dust and the packaging foam gets caught on it. There was excess spray paint build up on the screw part (where you screw the candle holder to the stick) making it so the screw would not go in all the way. These candlesticks are poorly made. The seller doesn’t let you return them unless you pay high shipping costs back to China, and then once they receive them they will refund you. It will cost more to ship them back to China than the item is worth... I’m very unhappy with the sellers customer service and product.

Love these. They are easy to assemble and look great on our mantel. One thing I will say is that I’m not sure if the taper candles I purchased were too small or if these candlesticks are a smidge bigger than advertised, but the taper candles I purchased do not fit these candlestick; they are a little loose. I suggest double checking measurements before buying your candles. Overall, very pleased with this purchase!Edit: I have tried another kind of taper candle (magnolia hearth & hand) and those also do not fit. I wrapped craft paper around the bottom of the candle so they are not lopsided, but changed my original review to 4 stars since it seems the candlesticks are just a little too loose.

These were super easy to assemble and they go with so many styles. I like them because they are simple and don't take over the tablescape. Black goes with everything. Looks just like ones I saw in a store for three times more.

I’m happy enough with these candlesticks but I think it would be important for you to know that they each come in 3 pieces which is totally fine with me except one of them didn’t screw in all the way. It was as if the hole wasn’t drilled deep enough?? It’s reallyNot a problem unless someone were to look at that one very carefully which I’m sure won’t happen. Would I buy them again? No. It only because I hope to find the same style a little heavier and more rustic looking. Value for the price? Sure but I’m not sure I would gift them. The photos show the small difference in how far one screwed in compared to the other. It doesn’t really bother me but maybe it would you?

Supposed to be straightforward assembly but it took 2 of us 30 minutes because when we screwed one of the candle cups in and it wasn’t going on smoothly, we tried to unscrew it and it was near impossible as the stick itself is so skinny and smooth with no grip. Only 1 of the sticks screwed in and out of the base and cup easily. The other 2 had problems with one end.

Seems everyone (me included) had been inspired by Pinterest for iron taper candlestick holders for the holidays and most were sold out everywhere! Turn to Amazon for a quick ship option to try to recreate the look in time for Christmas...Meh. Not exactly what I wanted but they worked. These are like when you try to substitute something cheaper from IKEA for a Pottery Barn look. Just not quite the same vibe.Came in a plain box so not great presentation for gifting. Each one comes in three pieces (candle cup, post and base) so you have to assemble them. Definitely screw the top on the post first and then screw the post into the base... gives arthritic hands something to grip onto. ;)They are metal but no cast or wrought iron. Powder coated aluminum would be my guess. They’re also not completely matte but a satin finish if this matters to you.The bases do have weight to them but these aren’t heavy. They aren’t flimsy enough to tip over easily should you be using real candles. I used 3D flameless LED tapers. They fit fine but you have to center them just right to stand straight. They’re on the mantel so they don’t get moved but at a table centerpiece, they will start leaning with bumps and jolts from dinner and conversation. Bit of Stick-Um candle adhesive, foam, aluminum foil or other tricks would help candles be more secure in these holders.3 stars for me is “just ok” and the product was a good value and functional as intended but didn’t WOW me. Additional stars get knocked off for any quality, value or performance issues.Taking off another star because of quality issues. One post leaned after assembly. I was able to carefully bend it back straight. Post wasn’t bent but rather the threads in the base were drilled at a slight angle and the posts don’t sit flush at the base as seen in other reviews. Mine are hidden with a garland and not noticeable but yours might be.Another star bites the dust for value. For the $28 I paid for three candlesticks (little over $9ea) this is not a good value. Especially now since they’re cheaper after the holidays. Go figure. The quality and look equates to something I should easily find in the Target Dollar Spot for $3-$5ea.One star remains because they are black candlesticks as stated and they are functional. They don’t look the best and I highly doubt any guests would compliment them or inquire where they came from. (Spoiler: they didn’t)Bottom line: cheap and average product. Nothing exceptional here and if you’re trying to recreate a rustic, farmhouse inspired look in your decor... these just aren’t it. Joanna Gaines would not approve and you likely won’t be happy with these slim substitutes. Just order the real ones you long for as I will now be doing since they’re back in stock.If you want clean and contemporary, perhaps these will suit you.They’d be returned if the box hadn’t been tossed with the holiday trash. *Sigh*

Perfect decor piece for mantle or console table. They came in 3 pieces and screw together easily. I was surprised that they were so heavy, good quality.
