It came in buble wrap. It is a soft crumbly dough in texture. You can actually see some flower parts in the cake. Not greasy but there is a bit of oil on the outside to prevent it from sticking. Individual wrapped, easy to tear open. about 2 inches wide and hald an inch tall.I find this to be addicting, it goes so well with teas, infusions and sparkling water. Might work with fruit, definitely goes with nuts.

When I first got these(I also ordered both the green tea and the chestnut flavored) my first impression was they were slightly dry. Good flavor- I’d almost describe as delicate floral- the green tea had a sort of slight bitterness to it I enjoyed. Neither was nearly as sweet as most American deserts, but I was expecting that. I would have rated these closer to three stars based on first impressions… maybe 4 for the green tea and 3 for the chestnut, however they really excel when paired with tea as I think they’re meant to be. When eaten while drinking a tea it helps to resolve the dryness issue I was noticing.. but also a nice tea helps make these seem sweeter, and brings out the flavor as well. I’ve only tried these with a green tea not a black tea so not sure how that pairs. People I’ve shared these with seem to agree that they’re ok on their own-if a bit dry, but they’re excellent with tea

The food itself was fresh, soft, and came individually wrapped and protected in these little cups. Quality packaging and service!The flavor itself is a bit too much for me but that’s personal taste. I’ve been wanting to try these for years and finally got to. ❤️

Nice and floral, for sure not for everyone.I usually hate floral scents but surprisingly this is so delicious. For sure it's an acquired taste.Slightly crumbly, nice scent, light chestnut flavors, moving to a creamy texture as you chew. Great with white and green tea, one or two in one sitting is perfect. Wish they sold them with more than 4 in a pack.
