I liked the way all those little ants swarmed at the bait in very little time. They ate like pigs and that was that!

First of all, someone please tell me why star ratings are shown but when you click on them it says there are no ratings. As for the ant baits, apparently I'm an idiot because I can't figure out how to use them. If you search for an hour with a magnifying glass it tells you to break off the tab. The only tab I can see doesn't break off--even with a pair of pliers. I'm a big fan of Terro but these are useless to me. Evidently nobody else has an issue with them so I must just be stupid. Update: I'm kind of embarrassed I didn't think of scissors but apparently they don't work much better. I am at a loss as to how tiny ants could leap over onto the mangled mess that's left after finally managing to tear off the tab with pliers. I finally got the tabs off and tried to pry the openings apart and stuck them around. Ants haven't gone near them. I have used other Terro products and the poison itself works but these are really terrible and I'm disappointed that Terro is continuing to sell them without improving them--even though some people evidently manage to get them to work. Evidently, based on the reviews I should have read first, I'm not all that stupid. Maybe some of the traps are more user-friendly; otherwise I don't know how so many people appear to think they work great while so many have the experience I had. Update: Absolutely awful. Poured liquid bait all over them and still ants won't go near them. Now stuck to my walls. Biggest waste of money ever.

I dreaded having to deal with the ants that were coming into our kitchen. They seemed to becoming in from our wooded back yard. I thought about calling an exterminator, but decided to look on Amazon first. I’m glad I did. Within 3 days we were ant free! I highly recommend it.
