UPDATE: In May 2017, it will be three years since purchase. It's getting to be time for a replacement. Tape to waterproof underside seams is peeling off. Not displeased, it gets a lot of South Florida sun (and rain). Likely to replace with another Formosa.NOTE: If there is any doubt about whether to go XL or XXL, go with the big one.The XL just barely covers my Harley Softail Standard, which does not have bags or a windshield.New cover is still stiff and may loosen up, but I would not want to put it on a bike any larger.OVERALL: Pleasantly pleased to find the just-arrived Formosa Cover is far more substantial than I anticipated.The material appears to be, well, 'heavy duty,' as the name says.If it does a decent job keeping the rain off and stays together for a couple years, will be most happy.Nice case with straps, but I don't see myself backpacking it.

Bought this to cover my 1985 BMW K100RS with side saddle bags that is parked in the backyard. The cover with elastic fittings covers the bike perfectly. The front has room made to go over the mirrows and handle bars. The material is nice and thick. It repels rain droplets pretty well, and shaking the cover afterwards rids the water and dries up quickly. As long as the cover can last a year or more, I'll be buying another. I don't expect this to last forever, but it's better than anything I can rig up.Update May 10, 2013Just had a significant rain storm in San Diego this past week. The Cover repelled water well to keep the bike dry. May be the material won't last forever, but neither will convertible canvas tops unless you keep applying waterproof solution. For $29, it's definitely a great deal.

I already have a cover made by this company for my Harley tour bike and it fits the tour bike well. The only thing that keeps this particular model down to 3 stars is that it's an extra large and it doesn't completely cover my '91 Harley FXR, a mid-sized cruiser which I will admit has handlebars a good 6 inches or so over any stock bike, not super tall apes by any means though. It only comes about halfway down the front wheel but I only use it indoors to keep the dust off that bike when stored for awhile so I don't see any real reason to send it back.For long periods of outdoor storage I would probably go a little heavier duty but you'll pay 2 or 3 times as much.

I chose this cover for my Harley Fat Bob. It's length is 91" I believe. This cover fits it almost perfect, except the front wheel doesn't get covered. So half the brake calipers and some of the front forks are open to the elements. I don't like the cover resting on the gas tank. Ideally I would like to to be suspended from the bars and across the bike so moisture is not in contact from the bottom of the cover to the bike surface. It does seem to have moisture every time I cover it for a couple days but I cant guarantee the bike was perfectly dry when covering it.. But all in all it has been a decent cover. No permanent damage as of yet though so no worries.Anyways the backpack is a joke. It can hold the cover for the one time it is shipped. After unfolding and using it good luck getting it back in. Its like anything you buy new out of the box, there's no way its going back the same.. and they don't leave any room for anything but a perfect new fold. The lock I haven't used.

For the money, I am very impressed with this cover. It seems to be well constructed and as long as it lasts 3-4 years, I will be pleased. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for and inexpensive motorcycle cover. I live in the southwest and want to protect the bike from the brutal sun, and this will do the job. The only thing to pay attention too is the sizing. I got the XL and am using it to cover a Triumph 800XC with soft saddle bags. It does cover everything, but just barely. If you are trying to cover a full size bagger, you definitely want to get at least an XXL.

Nice cover, feels like good material. I had purchased one of these covers for another bike a few years ago and it held up very well, so I expect the same from this one. The cover isn't as large as I would like. I keep my bike outdoors year round so I rely on the cover to keep it protected, but this one is not quite as large as I expected. I bought the extra large thinking it would cover the full bike, but it's a little short and so doesn't fully cover the rear brake assembly and chain as fully as I would prefer. My last cover was a large and it covered my Ninja 500 great, so for my Katana 600 I bought the extra large, but it wasn't as "extra" as I'd hoped.

Excellent cover. My bike has stayed dry using this cover out in the open. The only issue I have is the cover is quite faded after about 6 months to a year of use. Might not look pretty now but it still keeps the bike protected.
