This strap really holds the baby in place. We have a little wiggle worm and this strap is really useful, and VERY secure. I don't worry about the baby falling off the changing table with this (the pad is secured with screws to the table for extra security). This is really helpful, because sometimes I do need to step away to grab something, and this gives me peace of mind.
