NVR Network Video Recorder 9 Channel with 4 POE Power Over Ethernet Ports for upto 5MP IP Cameras

My old NVR packed up so I wanted a cheap alternative so went for this. Item arrived promptly, and I followed the instructions, installed the Hard drive. The instructions are pretty limited, the item has no power on button, so as soon as you plug it in, it boots up. I get an image on TV which says NVR is booting up, and then nothing. According to instructions, it should go to setup wizard but here, the screen remains blank. I searched for Encam if they have a support site, but cannot find anything, so I've returned the item.

This NVR works most of the time however the stream drops out randomly on a couple of my IP cameras. When I sniff the connection I see TCP resets coming from the NVR to the IPC's. No idea why the NVR is doing this and cannot find any form of contact for the manufacturer. Oh well, you get what you pay for I suppose!
