Great trash can. It’s lasted us 4 years, still looks good, functions well in terms of keeping odors in, the foot press opener still works well, and the only issues we have are that the bins themselves smell a little but they’re plastic and that would happen with any bins plus we don’t thoroughly clean our bins as often as we could

First off this took way too long to get here- over a month. The size is perfect for a 1-2 person household. Honestly I think the garbage and recycle are fine reversed, since recycling is much bigger items & that blue container doesn't fit much (we're a big seltzer household). It's annoying you need to get custom bags for it, but the bags are sturdy and smell nice. Woudn't mind if you made an unscented version though. The lid keeps garbage smells in so well when it's seated- better than any other trash I've used. The can itself is extremely sturdy and doesn't knock over. The lid dents easily especially if you close it on a wine bottle or something hard- not great. Major issue- it's a step peddle, but if you slide your toes too far forward they will catch on the mechanism, bring the weight of the entire garbage slamming down on your toes. I did this once and am terrified of it now. The lid is wildly heavy to lift and takes some force, so keep this in mind especially if you have kids using it or like being barefoot as I do. Overall I would recommend, but the lid & the foot peddle are a major liability for my poor toes. You could easily break a toe in this mechanism. Looks aesthetic- no branding.

Great trash bin for separating waste - the design is simple, and the metal case well into the kitchen. It’s very spacious, which is perfect if you cook often. The lid stays open when needed, which makes it super convenient while prepping meals. The build quality feels solid, and all the compartments slide and close smoothly. It’s easy to clean and use daily. Definitely a functional and well-priced option - I’d recommend it.

This trash is really convenient for our small kitchen. Because of its size we do have to take the trash out more often but I love it. It is nice having the both the trash and recycling in one space. If you have a large family or do a lot of cooking, this may not be big enough for you. The recycling side fills easily and so I am emptying it multiple times a week. There are two of us in my household and both sides fill quickly, but given the space constraints this trash can works well. The lid is super quiet. I do NOT recommend the compostable bags though, they fall apart super easy. (I did not buy those on Amazon and so can not review them on Amazon).

Had this can for over 3 years. Both cans contain rubber claps that help hold the garbage bags in place. The first one snapped within a month. The second one just snapped. I scoured the seller Amazon site for replacements. There is absolutely no way to contact them. Poor customer support.

The store is very understanding and immediately replaced the item when needed. I would reccomend them highly solely for that as they do care for the customer and your experience. The trash can itself is of sturdy quality, a sleek design and has the split bin to separate recycling which is convenient.

The foot pedal quit working after 5 months- with two of us in the household! I called the product assistance number and was asked to provide the product order number and a photo of the trash can - I was happy to have the replacement can covered by the 1 year warranty and a new one will be delivered to my home - I was also advised that the can will not have a 1 year warranty like the first one I purchased - the replacement process was easy and the rep was pleasant and efficient however I am crossing my fingers that this one doesn’t break in 5 months
