Stock is incorrect
As others have suggested over a year ago, the item on the shelf doesn’t match the item thats in the listing. As other have, I received the thin non-ferrous blade instead. I was hope Amazon would have worked through the issue in the over 1 year period this was last complained about, but they haven’t. Very disappointed, as I needed this blade.

Product does not match description
Does not match the pic or the item description. I received a 72T item that says thin Kerf which is confusing because it also says Full Kerf at 7/64Update : I decided to keep it. Although the product is not as per description I used it on a 1/4" aluminum 6063 plate and it cut through effortlessly with a DWS780 and I was moving fairly fast. It is still the wrong product though.

Great blade, but use caution cutting aluminum frame stock
I use this blade to cut miters in aluminum picture-frame stock, and it works great for this on a miter saw. However, there are a couple of precautions to know:1. Feed the blade -slowly- into the stock. The blade can easily hook multi-contoured pieces and will mangle the frame into a pretzel.2. Once the blade has been fed all the way down into the saw's slot, release the trigger and allow the blade to come to a full stop before allowing the head of the miter saw to return to the start position. Again, the spinning blade can grab the piece on the way up.This blade makes a nice finish on aluminum, but is more tedious to use than when cutting wood.

LU89M010 is a shop workhorse
We have been using this blade in our shop production routine for 20+ years. It will cross cut any aluminum, bronze or brass sheet, billet, channel, bar, tube or angle while holding close tolerances. Our primary use is for table saw crosscutting of 6061 aluminum angle and channel up to 2.0" high on a shop-made, sliding, crosscut bed, holding material to a precision stop for repeated cuts. We also do a lot of 24.0" to 48.0" rips in up to .25" aluminum plate, channel and angle. We keep a spray bottle of Starret M1 lubricant or WD40 handy and spray the blade, while running, before each cut. We keep a strong vacuum system running during the cutting operations to help clear chips. Long rips in heavier material get a little hot towards the end. Cut rough and go to tolerance on a second pass. Conversely, small crosscuts in light material can be made to tolerance with only occsional "spritzing" and in a single pass.We buy one of these blades every two to three years, relegating the old one to rough ripping of hard anodized aluminum plate, which finishes them off pretty darned quick, but they get the job done. Consistent spray lubing before cutting of clean material can produce long lived blades that will pay for themselves many times over. We keep a ready spare in the blade drawer at all times. We find the quality of this blade to be some of Freud's best work; dead flat discs and no snaggle teeth every time, easy to hold .001 tolerances in crosscuts of .125" thickness, 6061 angle, on a well set up crosscut bed. This is a safe blade. We have never lost or damaged an individual tooth in production use. The cruelest tasks have been repeated crosscuttings of 2.0" square, 6061 bar and rough ripping of hard anodized, .25 material, the latter a sacrificial effort fit only for a soon to be retired blade. We do not consider resharpening at this shop. Results have never met our standards. Blades are consumables. Their useful life easily justifies their cost. This blade is available on Amazon Prime, at best prices.

Works surprisingly well!
I just received this blade today and took a few test cuts on on 1.5" solid bar using TRIM 585XT @ 10% concentration for coolant/lube. I'm very impressed with the finish - as good or better than what I'd normally expect on a wet horizontal bandsaw! Cutting action was smooth and free of any chatter. While I can't say any radial saw would be my preferred choice for cutting Aluminum this did a fantastic job. I do realize this is not actually meant for sections over 1/4" but it works very well. This saved me from buying a very expensive tool to add to a cluttered garage.

Great blade with super clean cuts
I purchased this to cut 3" x 8" PVC beams with an aluminum core inside. The aluminum was about 1 1/2"x6"x1/8" thick rectangle tube. I got perfectly clean cuts through both the aluminum and the PVC trim that was wrapped around it. Because of the PVC being a finished product, I didn't use a lubricant like WD40 on the blade, but ended up not having issues with the blade gullets filling with metal.I also cut a few pieces that were 1/4"x1 3/4" solid aluminum and have no problems.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the performance so far.

Non-Ferrous saw blade
I'm building an "Affordaplane" ultralight aircraft. The aluminum is the toughest there is, and mu band saw could not touch it, my jig saw made it look like I chewed the aluminum in two, nothing would work. So I bought a cut-off saw but it came with only a metal cutting blade. I found this blade and bought it. It ate the aluminum like candy! I was actually able to cut a 1/16" slice off a 2"x2"x1/4" square tube. And after several hundred cuts, it is as sharp as the day I bought it. It is a bit pricey, but super well worth the cost. Try cutting a piece of grade 6063-T6 aluminum with anything else, and you will understand.

Silky smooth cuts
All of my work has been with extruded aluminum. Installed on a compound miter saw, this blade has made very smooth and accurate cuts. Absolutely no chatter on thin or thick stock. The thicker blade I believe adds to the blade's stability.
