Saved $100 with amazon vs shop no name brand; last 3 year years.
2007 Escape, I bought one a few years ago for it and it was put it by a friend. Worked great for about 3 years then the clutch went bad, bought another one because I had good results with this one and the A/C once again is ICY COLD. No more mild cool in the 90 to 100 degree weather. Saved a lot buying my own part vs the shop trying to give me a no name brand. Extra cash was used on more repairs at the shop that I wouldn't have done if I hadn't saved a lot of money. This was about $32 cheaper than 4 years ago when I bought it..

Great Quality
Used this to replace my broken compressor on 2005 Ford Escape. It fit perfectly, and brought my a/c back to life. Don't attempt if you are not mechanically inclined. Just remember you have to have your a/c professionally discharged prior to install and charged after install. Saved hundreds doing my own install.

Piece of junk
Be very cautious when buying a part from a 3rd party seller in Amazon. I purchased this denso /clutch compressor from B2c auto parts and after my husband installed it on our 2007 Ford Escape the coolant had leaked out within days due to the gasket leaking in this new not rebuilt compressor. And to make things way worse Amazon refuses to get involved because it’s a 3rd party seller. We also had purchased the extended waste of time warranty thru Amazon and that’s garbage. We have the added cost of the coolant and the install on a faulty Chinese made pile of crap…

2003 Ford Escape 3.0 4wd
Happy with purchase of the compressor. Note; it comes with about an ounce of oil in it, you will need to add more if you're doing a full system rebuild and the high side of the compressor holds about 7-8 oz of oil before it starts spilling out. This is the second time replacing this compressor however the first replacement compressor was a different brand. Happy I went with a better known name for this item as replacement would require all the work to be redone and I don't want to do it if I don't have too. Will try to update if things change.

perfect replacement for ford escape compressor with bad clutch.
a/c system was leak free but compressor clutch was wobbling and trying to lock up. Easier and more cost effective to replace compressor complete rather than replacing the hub, pulley and coil

Great Part Option
Worked great.

Compressor blew up.
This compressor is a Denso "rebrand" made in Korea. Ordered on 6-28, installed on 6-30 by a professional a/c shop. System was completely dissembled, and all cores/hoses were flushed individually. A new orifice and accumulator were installed. 7.5 ounces of oil was installed (new compressor was drained). Compressor failed internally (ring material in orifice tube) 8-25. This required doing the entire job again. Loss of compressor, accumulator, orifice, o-rings and flushing chemicals. Second time went with Halla compressor as they bought Visteon's (OE) climate division in 2015. Still made in Korea however. The Halla compressor looked a bit different than the Denso. Hoping the new compressor lasts longer than 2 months. Beyond return date for Amazon. Will avoid Denso re-brands in future. Denso OE is usually the best compressor money can buy just not this time...
