Bag Boy Nitron Golf Push Cart (Prior Generation)

Works like a charm. Easy to maneuver, and very easy to set up. Definitely worth the price as it holds my Sun Mountain bag securely.

Purchased for a surprise gift for my husband. He was overjoyed with the very small folded size, how quick it pops open to use and how easy it is to push. It’s actually been a couple of seasons now and it still works fantastic!

This was a sight unseen purchase to replace my 20 year old Sunmountain speed cart that was still going strong. My motivation was the toploc technology that the cart and my 2018 Bagboy Defender bag have. Out of the box, the cart is built better then I had expected. Every bit as substantial as my trusty SunMountain; not a tank like a Cigar. The fit with my bag is the real deal. No need to strap the top at all and I do the bottom out of habit. zero bag twist even on a hilly course. It does not push quite as easy as my old bike tire SunMountain but I don't think any all plastic would; just too much width in the tires footprint. Never-the-less, it pushes fine and was super stable over the bumpy, hilly course I call home. Walked 18 yesterday with a heavy winter bag with no issue. I have to admit I like how easy it is to setup the nitro cart. Likely 10 seconds from trunk to ready for my bag. Another 45 seconds and my bag is in the cart. Shut down likely takes 20 seconds. The smart phone mount is a nice feature as well. The only negative about this cart is you need to empty balls before you fold the cart up; the lid will open and they will come out. For someone who has bag twist and walks as much as I do, this cart and a newer model bagboy bag make all that a thing of the past. certainly a great rig when paired together

The bag boy nitron is a near perfect golf push cart. Lightweight, easy to fold and unfold, rolls smoothly, and has ample storage. I bought this on Amazon Prime day for $219, which is also a fantastic deal for this cart. My bag is a Sun Mountain 4.5 and fits very well on this cart with no twisting. The straps are easy to use, and very secure. One tip I'd suggest is to add some type of dry lube (bike chain, dry powder teflon, etc) to the wheel bearings, and they will roll smoother. I only have two very minor gripes with this cart. 1) There are no tee holders/holes in the console (all the other bag boy carts have them, so leaving them out is a mystery). 2) The stock umbrella holder sucks, and the adjustable holder is an additional $30. The stock holder is too short and the diameter is too wide causing your umbrella to be very unstable. The bungie cord can be made to work if you tie a knot into it, and make it shorter.

I absolutely love this cart. I read tons of reviews and this is the one I settled on. It is simple to put together out of the box and a breeze to use. Very small when folded up and fits great in my Honda accord trunk. I see people complain about not have a tee holder on the handle and that makes me giggle. It has a storage compartment and you have a bag full of tees. For all the other benefits I easily sacrifice not having tee holes! In the handle!!!

I upgraded to this cart from a CaddyTek 1.53 v2. The CaddyTek is an excellent cart at a nice price, it kinda lacks in a few areas. Being lighter weight, it is not as stable. It also has a small pouch/net and the umbrella holder is super low. I'm only 5'8" and would hit my head every time going under it. I also disliked the foot brake. Pros: At only 16#, it feels very sturdy and well built. Setup is a matter of seconds. Large net pouch under the handle. Hand brake Cons: Standard umbrella holder is terrible. Super low and doesn't hold your umbrella in. With any wind it will come right out. You need to spend an additional $30 to buy the upgraded one which raises it 4-6" and locks the umbrella in place. The magnets holding the top compartment are so weak. Do not put anything valuable in it. Golf bag doesn't sit as upright like the ClicGear does. If you like the handle higher, your clubs will hit whatever water bottle you may have in there. Bungee cords feel super cheap and will eventually wear out. Overall an excellent push cart and happy with my purchase.

I bought this golf cart for my husband's birthday and he loves it! It opens and closes very easily and it works really well, especially with the bottle holder and pockets. Highly recommend for the golfer in your life.

I just acquired this cart after having my Caddytek push cart for 6 years. I must say this cart really made a world of difference. First, it has compartments that makes it so organized for me. The top compartment held my golf balls (several because I lose a lot of them), score cart pencil, snack bars and room for more. There is a pouch under that for more storage. There is a special phone holder with an elasticized strap to hold it in place. And the amazingly large cup holder which is perfect for a yeti or Stanley. The comfort of the push handle is perfect and sturdy. I love how easily it moves and it’s not work at all. The brake location near your hand placement is so much better than my last cart which was on the wheel. The best part is how easy it is to fold up or set up. It’s quite compact so it fits easily next to my clubs in my car. What a great product!!!

Showed up quick and the cart is great. Folds up smoothly and easily compared to other carts and its quite compact. Best feature, IMHO, is that the brake is easy to use. Its a lever, up by the storage box rather than on one of the wheel axles and its MUCH more convenient to use.
