It is not a forming cleaner so some people may not like it. I only used it for a week and can tell it is clearly my skin and balancing the oil production. If you are using make up, I would suggest use a cleansing water as this alone will not remove heavy make up. I am very happy with this. The only con for me is that I need to use quite a bit each time to message it in so I can see I need to buy it more often but great cleaner for combo skin all around.

I used to just use a makeup remover cloth (neutrogena) to clean my face. But, I kept breaking out in my T=zone. Decided to try this cleanser and LOVE it! I love the light scent and how it does NOT make my skin feel dry at all. I wipe it off with a washcloth and it's ok to leave some residual on your face.I made several changes to my routine, so I really can't say which or all has made the impact, but I am not breaking out anymore:1. use this cleanser2. get a facial monthly (basic one with steam, mask, and pore cleaning)3. use the Elemis masks (lavender and papaya enzyme) about once every 2 weeks

I treated myself to a pedicure on a cruise and the girl sold this facial cleanser to me, too. I kind of felt like a sucker, but whatever, I was on a cruise and I wasn't spending any money on alcohol so why not my skin? You must understand that I have never had any sort of skin-care routine. I usually just washed my face with my husband's deoderant soap in the shower or Ivory or maybe nothing. Elemis has changed this. I love this stuff -- really cleans but is gentle on the skin, non-greasy, light and perfect. I was so happy to find this here, and $10 cheaper than what I paid on the cruise.

I first purchased this product from spa store on a cruise on a whim. I was skeptical because it is not labeled oil free but after several uses, I was really impressed by how clean this left my skin. It is gentle yet effective. Along with the cream cleanser, I use the toner which has helped balance my skin and really improve its overall tone and clarity. I am someone who has always used a water based cleanser, but after using Elemis, I don't think I will ever go back to my store bought products. This is so worth the money and lasts!

I like this cleanser but I find that I have to exfoliate more often than with other cleansers because it leaves behind so much oil. I have combination skin and usually have to take extra care with the oilier parts of my face, but even the typically dry parts of my face are getting a bit bogged down with oil now. I thought my faces oil production might slow down after I used the cleanser for a few weeks, but no such luck.It's non-irritating and it smells quite nice though. If you have naturally dry skin you should definitely consider it. If you have combo or oily skin, just be aware you may need to exfoliate and blot more.

Very gentle on my sensitive, acne-prone, aging skin. It is expensive, so, I can't give it five stars.

This has done wonders for my face and neck!!! It is a little spendy but it is worth every penny. I have very very sensitive skin and very difficult to find products that work for me. A little bit goes a long way. Been using a little over a month and have so much left. Highly recommend to anyone!!!

I went on a cruise and got a facial. I bought the cleanser this cleanser upon pressure of the staff and was honestly a little mad at myself. However, I have been using it now for several months and it is wonderful. It cleans well without drying out.I have skin that tends to get dry but also prone to isolated cystic acne. This products works perfectly.I have been using this bottle for 1.5 months daily and have only used about a quarter of it.
