True to Psychology
I wouldn't recommend this - nothing wrong with the writing though. It's a matter of taste and I found it rather grim.

Fast
Its book read fast, parts of it was confusing until the end where every thing fell into place. The ending was a surprise for sure.

This book is strange!
I took a philosophy class last year. I had to write several papers and cite them thus I combed through Amazon for free philosophy books and came across this one. There is a movie by the same name that I wanted to see, this is not the book that the movie is based on.It is a stream of consciousness story at best. It starts with John and his friend and early on is laced with profanity in what appears to me to be shock value. Thankfully it slows to a trickle. One lesson I have learned from my own poor writing is if you need a gun at the end of the story, you need to make sure that it is talked about at the beginning. That is the weakest part of the book. We are never really set up for the ending. It goes from philosophical stream to an abrupt end.I really cannot recommend this to anyone. Even if it was free (the e-book is). The cost of your time to read it is not worth it.

New
A refreshing yet cliche expression of love for another. The notion of loving someone so much you stick with them through illness and the notion that you intentionally forget in order to rediscover your love...interesting.

A Most Unfortunate Mistake
I did not like this story at all. Actually I wanted the other novel with the same title by Audrey Niffenegger. I didn't realize an author can use a title of a famous book and write an entirely different book. So the purchase was a mistake on my part. I found this book poorly written and incompetently edited. there are terrible misspellings "pale" for "pail," and all kinds of grammatical mistakes. In one place the author refers to the wrong character; the whole sense of the passage demands that it was the other character. Actually I gave up reading it because it was so bad.

Check you have the right book of this title....
I am totally baffled by this book. Hate the style, can't make head or tails of the story and I'm fed up with all the typos, and dreadful grammar - driving me crazy. I doubt I will ever reach the end even though my Kindle tells me I have less than an hour left to read.....I don't want to waste any more of my life on it.Sorry...that's just how I feel about it....

A terrific, thoughtful and moving story. One of my favourites.
This book takes science fiction to a new level. I can't fault the writing or characterisation. A great read and thoroughly merited the making of the movie.
