I wanted a tilt mount for a guest bedroom and wanted to limit how much I spent. This mount worked, but I missed some features that other mounts I had purchased came with:When it arrived, I thought I had received the wrong mount because the box was so small. They are able to use a small box because the back plate, when assembled, is two 8 inch sections you have to bolt together. This presents some problems because when bolted together the sections won't stay perfectly aligned, so when marking the mounting holes, use a level so you keep the top edge level.Next issue is the total width of the back plate is 16 inches. I mounted a 42 inch LED TV on it, and it could only mount centered on the plate. There is no left and right room to slide and adjust. I took that into consideration when I mounted the back plate, and I made it work for the size of the TV and the space on the wall, but wish I had a little more flexibility.Other reviewers noted the 16 inch width means you probably won't get two studs when you attach to your wall. I planned around this and used two stud mount points and four hollow wall anchors. Here the two section back plate came back as a negative factor, because the section with the stud mounting tightened close to the wall, but the right hand section pulled out a little, and I couldn't get the anchors to grip as tightly. When I was finished and hung the TV, the right section pulled out about an eighth of an inch.Finally, I was able to hook the power & HDMI cords while the TV was hung on the back plate, but it is extremely tight quarters, and if I needed to hook up additional cords, I will probably take the TV down to do so. IMO, this is something the makers should have tested, as no one really wants to take down a TV just to connect cords, and my other tilt mount gives me about triple the room to maneuver my hand and the cord.The quality of the wall plate and TV bracket material is very good, using heavy gauge steel, and an assortment of TV attachment bolts is supplied. Instructions were clear.Bottom line, this mount works for TVs up to 32 inch, but has limitations you should understand before you order. I don't think it works very well for my 42 inch TV and I will probably replace this one over time with a product with a backplate that is longer than 16 inches.

We purchased one of these back in January for an older model 32" Toshiba flat screen. It was being moved into our bedroom and hung on the wall opposite our bed so I was looking for one that had a slight degree of tilt to it so it could be easily viewed from bed. This one was the highest rated one at a low price that I could find that tilted. Hanging was very easy. These are often very difficult to remove from the wall, but not this one! It has 2 straps (one on each side in the back) that hang down for you to pull, when you pull them, it automatically releases the locks on the bottom so you can simply lift it off the wall. To place back on the wall, just wait to hear the "click" sound of the locks locking back in place on bottom. Then you reach behind the tv and holding the end of the little straps, stick them to the back framing with the little magnet at the end of each one of them. This way they are completely hidden from view but easily accessible next time! I had never seen one with this feature before, and we love it! Our son is getting the smaller tv that was in our bedroom for his room now. So I JUST ordered a 2nd one of this, identical to our first, to hang that one up with. That one is a 22" Toshiba LCD flat screen. This wall mount just barely is hidden by the back frame of that tv. So I am not sure if I would recommend it for a tv smaller than 20;22" unless you do not mind seeing a portion of the framework peaking out from the sides. Definitely recommend this one though for models over 20"!

I bought this product heavily on the premise that it is #1 or one of the best selling TV wall mounts on Amazon. I would not buy this product again, and in fact I am looking for another wall mount soon.Ownership: 2-3 months now, been installed for over 2 months. Bought from Amazon, as was the TV.Pros:Sleek and hidden away because close to wallSturdy and holds your TV securelyShips in a small nondiscreet package (important if you live in an apartment building where packages left on street can get nicked!)Cons:Too close to wall I cannot plug stuff inInstallation involves confusing and poorly written instructions (more on this later)No brand or real company behind this thingI mounted my LG Infinia 42LV5400 42-Inch LED flat screen. I thought the high selling ranking, coupled with the fact that this thing tilts will serve fine for all the problems I tried to concoct for a wall mount. The package comes in a padded yellow envelope the size of a woman's clutch purse. Upon opening, you find the instruction booklet to install this thing.Lets just say that it seems like someone took Chinese, Russian, or some other language and put it through Google Translate to give you what you are reading. Honestly, at times, this was hard to use context clues to figure out the complete sentence. At other times, they clearly just did not give a fudge and cut off multiple sentences in a row and would start much later!!!The last part of the installation that sucks is when your TV is hooked to the vertical supports to the wall, on the rectangular piece, you need to shimmy your hand and a screwdriver from the bottom side.. up, to tighten a screw. Unfortunately, you have so little space, getting some pressure and getting more than 1 full turn per go is definitely not do able. It took me about 15-20 mins just to do this part, and just as many cuss words and new grey hairs. Now that I think about it, I wonder if you can even get your hand up there to screw it if you don't have boney hands like I do.With all that said, the TV does look damn great on there. Everything would be forgettable (and I would change my rating to a 3.5 and maybe a buy) if not for the closeness of this thing.My TV has a few HDMI ports coming off the side. The space is so small that I have problems with those.. in that I cant grab the plug by the end and pop it in, I have to grab it a few inches down the wire and snake it into the port almost.My VGA (for hooking my laptop to the big screen when I want to work from home), cable port (or the cable box), component cords (for playing Nintendo 64) are strictly on the back of the TV and are impossible to reach. You need to buy an L joint for the type of connector you take, then you still need to take the TV off the wall and plug it all in.Remember that turn by turn by turn from the bottom, to tighten the TV? You have to undo that, then redo it!!Also, if you have any cord tidies coming down from your TV, you need to redo it, which can be a hassle if you need to "rip" the cord hide-away tubing taped to the wall.All in all, avoid the hassle.. spend another $10-25 and buy a decent branded TV wall mount.

Perfect size for a 43" wall mount tv. Only had it on the wall for one week. No problems so far.

Muy buena base, se pega muy bien a la pared y si la inclinas un poco puedes poner el cable o el Apple TV atrás de la TV. Pensé que no iba a aguantar mi tv de 55” pero si sin problemas, es una base muy rígida.
