Interesting coating, I really like this bar
I'm building a home gym and I'm attempting to do it on the cheap. Even still, I lift a decent amount of weight, so a dirt cheap barbell wasn't going to do. I'd looked at some other barbells costing upwards of $300 or more and couldn't bring myself to spend that on a first home gym bar. I found this bar through some reviews and I really like it. The coating is something I haven't come across before and it's really unique. It feels like any normal barbell would, but with this extra sticky/tacky like feel to it that I really enjoy. The commercial gym bars that I'm used to using were always slick in my hands, so I'd have to load up on chalk or pick the one with the deepest/sharpest knurling. This bar, which comes lightly oiled, felt glued to my hands even before I wiped off the oil without having an aggressive knurling. I only feel the need to use chalk sparingly (mostly out of habit) and I don't have any pulled callouses since the knurling is fairly mild in comparison to the cheese grater like bars I've used in the past. If you like a really deep knurl regardless of the finish then this bar probably isn't for you, but don't let the lack of an aggressive knurl steer you away from this bar for grip reasons, this thing stays planted. It also has the center knurl, which was a lot harder to find than I thought it'd be in this price range. Overall fantastic bar and I'd recommend it to just about every home gym builder looking for a quality bar without sacrificing a big chunk of your budget.

Great looking bar, super comfortable to handle
This bar is great. I can fit a ton of weight on it and this thing doesn't seem to mind at all. The knurling on the bar is aggressive enough to give you a nice, firm grip, but wont destroy your hands. The bar weighs right in at 45 pounds on my testing. Seems pretty resistant to rust, but with everything, just keep it clean and give it a good wipe down clean every so often. Great value, beautiful bar, perfect for me

Great bar
I purchased this bar because it’s a 45 pound rather than the 35 I was using. This bar is more solid than the 35 pound I was previously using. The knurling is smooth, but aggressive (good grip). I feel much more confident pushing heavier weight with this bar than my previous. For those who gave bad reviews because of “rusting,” in the packaging it clearly states to regularly oil the bar with a 3 in 1 lube. I have not had any rusting issues by following the manufacture instructions. I would definitely recommend this bar! ****update May 14, 2021***** The bar is still awesome and has not rusted as others complained about. I did spray it with WD-40 (as the instructions said to) about two times since I purchased. Obviously following instruction works! I can say this was a great purchase and I still love the feel and balance of this bar. ******1 year update***** This bar is still awesome. I have not one thing to complain about this bar. I have had 315 pounds on it and there were no issues with that weight at all. Also, not one speck of rust. I am in humid Florida and as long as you periodically treat it with WD40 you will have absolutely no issues.

Power bar goodness
This was my first purchase for my home gym. For reference, I've been a filthy casual lifter for about a decade. Most of my experience with gym equipment has been whatever the gym has at the military installation I'm on. I recently separated to go do other things, and immediately packed on 30 very unwanted pounds. I still hate running, and I can't be bothered to travel to a gym, so I figured I'd spend an unreasonable amount of money to sacrifice space in my garage and get my filthy casual gains in private. This bar will easily handle whatever I'm going to do to it for at least the next decade. On my example, the finish is pristine, it arrived well packaged and oiled, the spin is smooth, the girth hits in all the right places, and I appreciate it's length. I also bought the matching ez curl bar, which I haven't used enough to review yet. It's also rather fancy, and I'd say it's going to perform just as well. Either buy this, the Xmark Blackbird, or a Synergee bar if you're sticking to Amazon. This had the center knurling and the all important girth I was after, and it is a bargain for what you get.

Really good value, really good bar.
I bought this bar back in 2020 during tough times. I intended to replace it when more "premium" bars were back in stock, but this bar is such a great bar for general use (squat, bench, RDL, landmine) that I have kept it and have no need for the "premium" bar. The finish has stood up well, and the sleeves spin great. If you prefer power bar type knurling the mild knurl on this bar won't do it for you, but if you like a moderate/passive knurl, or you don't care, this bar is great. I ended-up buy the EZ curl bar version as well.

Product is good and sturdy. Grips are good. Packaging for shipping not so good. Difficult to pull off otherwise would have been a five star.

Amazing barbell!
First off, I love the 2 tone color contrast. The 2 tone look really makes the bar pop. I have used it for about week and so far I can say that this feels extremely durable and comfortable. This will last a lifetime. I also really like that the sleeves are extra long to hold more weight. The knurling feels amazing compared to lower priced bars. I recently got a cheap bar and the knurling feels COMPLETELY different in my hands. The Crowbar feels amazing in the hand. All in all, I highly recommend this product!

Seems Good
I have had this bar for about a week. I bought it because it has the features that I want/need such as center knurling. After using it for about a week, it seems great. The knurling is stout, but is not injurious to my palms. The marker rings and knurling are different with different distances between them from my old bar, but that is an easy adaptation to get used to. Also my old bar is not the quality of this one. I don’t have any complaints so far. I looked at some bars that were considered more advanced or less of a “beginner” bar. I couldn’t justify the amount of money they charge. I cannot imagine that there could be a bar that costs twice or three times the amount of this one that would be twice to three times better for me.
