Pentair 85015200 Equalizer Assembly Replacement Admiral S20 Pool and Spa Skimmer

When I bought my house, this was missing in my pool skimmer. Perfect fit. Works great.

My skimmer is an admiral S-15 it has one hole for the suction to the pump. The skimmer and the main drain are plumbed separately and the skimmer has no bypass hole.I could find no place on the internet where it stated this valve fit anything but the admiral S-20 that has two holes in the bottom and allows flow from the main drain.Glad to say, this valve fits perfectly as does the o-ring that goes in the bottom of the skimmer that you need to buy separately for this to seal to the skimmer bottom.To be clear. This valve fits both S-20 and S-15 perfectly!

I had to remove the flow control in the bottom since my skimmer has only a single hole, but it fits it perfectly. Now if the water level goes really down at the skimmer, the water will continue to flow to the pump from the bottom drains, preventing air to get into the system.

Replaced broken and worn out piece. Exact replacement.

I inherited the responsibility of maintaining our neighborhood pool and the county health inspectors have dinged me for missing turtles (aka float valves, aka equalizers) every year. We had turtles but they seemed to be too tall and didn't let the skimmer baskets seat properly. Through the process of elimination, I finally figured out that we had an entire set of the WRONG turtles. These fit our Admiral/Pentair skimmers perfectly.

It works perfectly, now I can get more cleaning power at the bottom of my pool. I had the hardest time trying to find the model. I finally found it under the skimmer cover. Whew!! As others have said it does not come with a gasket it but fortunately my old gasket was still in there.

Tried the model Leslies sell. They said it fits all models skimmer but in actuality was a tad larger. This product from Amazon was a perfect fit
