I got these tongs to use with our Ninja Foodi and other non-stick surfaces. They are 12" tongs, so they are long enough to reach in and flip food. The tongs have a great grip, too, and I don't have to worry about dropping anything. Another plus is that they are dishwasher safe. When I finish, I rinse them off and pop them in the top rack of the dishwasher. They have a great lock on the top. There's a knob that pushes in or out to unlock them or lock them in place. I'm very pleased with them.

I had bought a metal one at first. It was getting rusty very fast. Had an iron smell to it. This is just what I needed! No problems, easy to clean

I wanted a way to slow cook without mush from water

Sturdy inner steel Fran can take the weight of the bird or large piece of meat. Outer silicon heavy (thick) cover will keep the grate easy to clean.

It was off by about 1/8 of an inch

Seem sturdy but not as good as the expensive, competitor brand OXO in my opinion. But it was less than half the price each and by buying a set of 2, I was able to give one to my mom to use with her new instant pot.

Sturdy, and the metal underlying the silicone goes nearly to the tip of the tongs. I like that, since the tongs these replaced had 3/4" of silicone just at the tip, which turned out to be a bad thing as I found out when I bit into the broken off piece in my lunch. Most tongs aren't easy to clean because of the channel in the arms, but the dishwasher does a fine job getting in the nooks and crannies.

I am very pleased with this item. It will sit on the rim of a small oval roaster or in the bottom of a big one. Itnus very easy to clean and can also be used as a trivet on a worktop or table.
