We got a couple of these for our music room. They look amazing with smart coloured lamps in. Like proper little stage lights!

Easy to set up Wiring- I’m a novice and this was so very easy. Buy a dimmer switch to vary lighting. But are still perfect on their own

Absolutely not a spotlight of any description.. it's tiny but the problem is that it only takes a bulb a little bigger than a torch bulb. The light fitting is almost 10cm into the body of the phantom "spotlight" .... wry sad with this completely useless product ....

Love the style, quality and the price. When I first ordered it fir that price I thought the quality would be no good .Wrong it was amazing quality.

Full disclosure - I haven't got these working yet for one simple reason. The product comes without a bulb and the E27 fitting (large screw-in) and small aperture restricts the availability of any that are suitable so I've knocked one star off for that. The housing aperture is about 55mm wide and most spotlight bulbs are 63mm across at the smallest. I only found small 'golf ball' bulbs that may have fit but they weren't spotlights so I decided to go for an E27-GU10 adapter (~£2) and buy GU10 LED bulbs instead. They won't be here for a few days but I'm hoping it'll make it all work. The housings are metal and the general build quality seems OK but not brilliant. There are two adjuster screws on each side: the ones on the yoke bracket are obviously to tighten and keep the housing pointing in the desired direction and the second one I think is supposed to allow you to slide the lamp holder up and down the tube but you can't undo this one without undoing the bracket one which gets in the way. Both of these screw through the body and into a bar that holds the lamp so you have to undo both if you want to move the bulb up and down and it just doesn't feel like it was thought through. They could've used smaller knobs or just designed it better with them at right angles on the housing out of each other's way so I've docked another star for this. They do look good and the 'barn-door' openings on the front are adjustable and sturdy enough. At this point I would probably buy them again because I don't need the adjusting function and I think I've worked around the bulb issue reasonably cheaply as long as they work when I get the right bulbs in.

Spotlight can be adjusted to fit larger bulbs by removing 2 x screws at bottom of cowling ..nice light and value for money
