FotodioxPro WonderPana Go Essentials Kit - GoTough Filter Adapter System f/GoPro Hero3 Housing Case with Three Filters (UV, CPL, ND8)

This is a pretty nice package for the price. Very happy that it came with the screw driver, machined 52mm housing, lens cap, and 3 filters, circular polarizer, ND, and UV Filter. I'm using a GoPro Hero 3 Silver and I haven't fully tested it yet except for some sample shots but I am happy with this purchase. I want to give it a rating of 5 stars but I have only one problem with this. Using the polarizer filter on wide angle you see feathering on the corners of your video due to the lens ring coming into view. I know the solution is to crop the video but that shouldn't be the answer to this design flaw. This Is a good idea but is lacking In creativity Fotodiox says It can't be done but I have It In 52mm I did write the company and sent pictures but I was ignored. No one got back to me. Amazon sells this in 52mm I have It in 52 mm. I wanted It in 52mm because I have Singh-Ray and some older Nikor Filters when I use to shoot with Nikon.

Polariser lens works fine.It does however leave a slight gap when screwed on which allows water to seep in between housing and filter.Also, the housing/filter creates a keyhole effect when being used as the frame cuts into the viewing area.

This is a great filter system for the Hero 3. The glass is not the best but for the price you really can't beat it. I bought it because one of the reviewers said you can put any 52mm filter on the housing, which I have nice Tiffin polarizers and NDs, but I found that is not the case (with mine at least). The standard 52 mm filter is just slightly too large to fit. But I'm not taking any points off for Fotodix as the item is just what they described as being.

Fotodiox co. Is a Frad, all the items that thy make for the GoPro thy do not work !!! And I can approve thy any one that would say any deferent, about this company!!! I have tested there two adapter which thy clim that works with GoPro cameras, the three filter that thy offer, after you attach the lens to any GoPro you can see the reflection of the filer in you video , I have can't act them many times and there respond is not to make any comment regarding this issue, if you do not believe me please feel free to contact me any time you like, that's again, and please live feed back, Amazon should let this thief sale anything on amazon!!!!!

Like these. Only used them a little so far, but I'm excited to see what I can really do with these.

The kit replaces the front plastic ring that holds the lens, on the housing. Make note what screw comes out of what hole. On the Go Pro Housing there are 2 short and 2 long screws, kit comes with screw drivers. It's aluminum plate, that you mount onto the Go Pro housing. Kit comes with Skylight, ND4 and polarizer filters. It will take any 52mm photo Filter and it works quite well really.

Just received mine kit in the mail and it's missing the square portion of the adapter and is also missing the screws. Pretty disappointed.. I'll update this review once I actually receive all the parts.
