Bardahl 2116 No Smoke Motor Oil Additive

This stuff actually works. My Equinox goes through oil like I eat M&M's. Saw this in 2 Guys Garage, (they don't lie, right?) and gave it a shot. Smoking has decreased and my oil level goes further now.

Worked like a charm on my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3lt V8. Doesn't smoke at all now. Very happy with it.

Great for old big motors that have leakage issues. Works great on my BMW. Its not gone but much better. A 100% buy

Stuff is ridiculously thick to the point I was somewhat concerned, but it definitely stops the smoke or at least dramatically reduced it, and reduced the oil consumption at least by 50% in my 2005 slk350 which was burning through 1 quart every 200 miles due to scorned cylinders and failing piston oil control rings. After going almost 400 miles now it's only slightly below the full mark on the dip stick. Still not great, but definitely helped more than anything else I tried and while I save up for a rebuild or engine swap. Time will tell if it continues to stop the consumption but seemed to start working within 25 miles I would say. I've tried several different "stop smoke" oil additives in the past and nothing seemed to really work or slow the consumption but I heard good things about this brand and decided it couldn't hurt at this point. The only issue I did notice was the valvetrain is much noiser and there's a valve tick now, but car still seems to drive fine so I'll leave it alone.

Added to my 2012 BMW 528I X-Drive because of little smoke after the sits for a day or two. It did not help, but that might be because of other mechanical issues that this product is not designed to improve.
