Tooth pulled or build this? Yank the tooth out!
I really don't know where to begin. I bought this thinking it is for 2nd and 3rd graders. My daughter is into building things. With my help, no problem! It will be fun! Boy, what a fool I am.I should have listened to the other mom who reviewed it. I shouldn't have doubted her wisdom and knowledge of this project. It is something I regret now. Some people have anxiety with the dentist. I now have anxiety with this. The first stage of this project was no problem at ALL! Build the legs, straight pieces, basically making rectangle, hollow legs. Easy peasy! We had no problem. Then you have to put them together. That's where you start to question yourself. I got to the 3rd or 4th step, of the 2nd or 3rd step. (lost my daughter's help fast.) and enlisted my Honors/AP Junior son. The next thing I know, he is getting red faced, muttering things under his breath, questioning why I would order this awful thing. I keep repeating "Don't F'n rip!" over and over again as I rip out the next horror to put together and try to tape/connect together. (Tape is your friend for this! Forget the glue!) Well, after spending 2 hours one day and 2.5 the next. (It STILL wasn't finished!) I ordered another marble racer that you can build and is made out of plastic. My sanity came back when that arrived. However, my blood pressure goes up every time I see this product on my table taunting me to finish. I may spend 10 minutes here and there but right now, my heart races and my stomach drops to even think of it. I'm not one to be defeated but the thought of dumping it all in the trash not finished, is pretty appealing.

Waste of money find author’s website and order his digital book
Instructions a little confusing. Pieces (especially tabs) are very small and difficult to work with. The author has a wonderful website where he sells digital copies of a marble run for a few dollars more which I highly recommend over this book.
