Easiest to refill and clean hummingbird feeder
Best hummingbird feeder I've ever used. First one got destroyed by a bear last fall. I tried Maggift feeder but it totally frustrated me. It was too small, leaked and was a pain to refill. The Droll Yankees is easy to clean, easy to refill with the center section that lifts up, and the birds love it. It is supposed to come with a feeder port brush but this last one did not. I still have the brush from the one I bought before, so it's not a big deal. Highly recommend over the Maggift and glass models that can be hard to fill.

Best Design of Any Hummingbird Feeder - All Brands!
First of all, I bought this without any compensation. I'm a hummingbird fanatic. I live in an apartment complex, but I still get droves of hummingbirds - presumably because of the nectar-rich flowers I grow. The design of this hummingbird feeder is slightly different than the other dish feeders. Most dish feeders (Aspects and Perky Pet) have an area in the center that the manufacturers call an ant moat. This feeder has a huge capacity -- more than any other dish feeder I've seen. The top of the feeder is dome-shaped. That allows water to slide off when it rains. The perch that surrounds the dish is slightly higher than it in on other feeders. The sides aren't curved, so that helps to prevent spillage. The feeder comes with nectar guards, which is tremendously helpful if bees or wasps are a problem. A protective barrier lies on top of the dome, providing total protection against flying insects, ants, or other nectar loving menaces. This design addresses every issue that hummingbird watchers face with other feeder designs. My only wish is that Droll Yankees would use this design to create models that hold 8, 12, or 16 ounces of nectar - in addition to this 32-ounce model.

I found this brand years ago and loved their product
I found this brand years ago and loved their product. My old feeder cracked and this is a replacement. It works fine - seems a little smaller than the old feeder but has more red on the top so I think that would attract the birds better. The red lid also pops off whereas the old one didn't, so this version is easier to clean.

Poorly designed for hanging
This feeder is basically not useful for hanging purposes. Even full (1qt) it isn't necessarily level when hung. Yes, the bees cannot get to the liquid but it needs to be refilled when only half empty......then it is seriously tilted and only 2 or 3 holes are used by the hummers. An alternate, more effective design needs to be developed to replace this "bee proof" humming bird feeder I would not purchase again and took it down after 1 week.

The little red flowers are not hard plastic but separate rubber pieces.
Update on my review. After emailing Droll Yankees they sent me replacement flowers at no charge. This feeder worked well until the squirrels found it. The little red flowers are not hard plastic but separate rubber pieces. The squirrels chewed the rubber flowers away and then feeding ports broke away leaving a large hole. Bees and bugs would climb down the holes and drown.

The best on the market
We feed about 100 hummers in the winter, 150 in the summer, and have for 40 years (98% are Annas and Allens); and always have 9 or 10 of these up and running. We have tried most of the feeders on the market, discussed others with those who have them, and this is clearly the best. It's little pricy, only lasts a decade or so in our mild NorCal climate (!), and is not very easy to clean--get a bottle-cleaning brush and a tiny nozzle brush for that. But it never spills over in hot weather if you don't overfill it, unlike all the gravitational feed feeders, it feeds 8 birds at a time (for a long time), and it's easy to keep bees off--at worst, a tiny sideways spray with flying insect spray will keep them off, without any going into the feeding tubes, or any bee fatalities. On the best evening fill-up times, we have at least 12 birds circling or on each feeder, and the noise of the wings is up there with massive duck raft take-offs; so the customers approve! Many of them would not get through the cold spells--freezing and snow--we get occasionally without this battery.

Well designed and I love the profile so you can see any hummer at the feeder!
I picked up a couple of these for me to replace problem feeders I currently had. As well as purchasing one as a gift for a family I met in Honduras who came to visit some of their family in the states. What I loved about this was...it is made in the USA..and is something known in our country that we put out...that...in all honesty they could easily fill once back home! Something our culture does...that isn't seen in Honduras. Where ones are struggling to feed themselves...but they have amazing hummers there...and what a great gift...and easily obtainable is sugar. So excited to be able to share something of our culture...with them to take back.I really enjoy watching the hummers...and this is a well constructed feeder.

Won't hang level; bad design
I mistakenly ordered the 8 port Droll Yankee feeder thinking this was a brand and model I had used before. When I filled it half full and then tried to hang it I found the feeder tilted quite noticeably and thus one side was practically empty while the other side was up to the brim. Even when I filled it full it still canted some. As the feeder empties it cants more and thus the perches along the one side will not deliver the same as the others. I have a smaller feeder of a similar design and when this happened I went looking to check the brand on this other one. I found it was actually the Aspects HummZinger Ultra. It hangs dead level regardless of the level of the contents. They only offer a capacity up to 16 oz. and I think it's because that configuration (flat/shallow bowl) is too difficult to properly weight so it will hang correctly. I now belatedly realize that most of the hummer feeders that hold 32 oz are the tall cylinder shape, which shape is apparently much easier to configure for even/level hanging. I think Droll Yankee should stick to their seed feeders and leave the hummer feeder market to others. I would highly recommend the Aspect HummZinger hummer feeders if you want this type of shape. They hang correctly and are easy to fill and clean and have a built in ant moat.
