Holds an 8 month olds attention
Baby watches it everyday and jabbers along with it. He has no idea he is learning basics that will help him get a great head start in life. But I know and love it!

Learn your numbers quickly while having fun!!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE KID'S VIDEO. We originally borrowed this from the library. We liked it so much, and I was so tired of having to return it after maxing out the renewals just to check it out again, that we decided to buy it. The kids (2 and almost 4 years old) ask for it all the time. I thought they'd be tired of it after a few months, but it still holds their interest. The songs are a great compliation of really great Sesame Street production numbers. We all sing along and, quite frankly, I can't get the songs for the numbers 3, 5, and 10 out of my head. The kids also like the bits with Ernie and Benny (don't call him bunny) between the songs which is usually when the kid's lose interest in this type of DVD.

A Fun Way to Learn the Numbers and Reinforce Numerical Order
I have nothing but praise for the 1, 2, 3 Count With Me video (hosted by Ernie, not Elmo). For the sake of comparison, I do not hold Sesame Street's Do the Alphabet video (hosted by Big Bird) in high regard. In 1, 2, 3 Count With Me the story cleverly centers around work at the Furry Arms Hotel and with great comic relief shows children practical applications for using numbers. I bought the video when my son was two years old. My children, currently ages 4 1/2 and 2, learned number recognition and numeric order reliably thanks to the catchy theme song and clips highlighting specific numbers. Now that my oldest child is successfully learning addition, I see in a new light the importance of reinforcing numerical order (adults take it for granted). Educational value aside, this video makes them laugh out loud too.

You might get hooked yourself...
I bought this for my seven month old on a whim as my wife and I were looking for some DVDs from the Baby Einstein video series. But after watching this, we are glad we made this purchase. The characters are great and, in typical Sesame Street fashion, are goofy as heck! Benny has to be our favorite character and I'm sorry one reviewer didn't take more kindly to him - he definetly brings more humor to this already funny video. Think of him as a funnier Oscar. The songs are extremely catchy - I find myself humming them on my way to work (shh, don't tell anyone!). This has quickly become the most watched DVD in our home!...and oh yeah, my kid really likes it too!

Sesame Street-123 Count With Me
This DVD is good as far as exposing children to numbers and my 2 year old seemed to enjoy it, but the bunny is VERY rude. My son has not asked to watch it so I haven't shown it to him since the first viewing, because if the rudeness of the bunny. I would prefer if they made an effort to display or encourage good manners as well as teach about academic things, like Barney tends to do.

GREAT VIDEO,EDUCATION,FUN AND ENTERTAINING..
The dvd arrived last week, for my 8 month old granddaughter. I decided on this dvd after reading the 5 star reveiws. I'm happy with the choice. It's educational, fun and entertaining. My granddaughter stops to look and listen when she hears several songs, rock around the clock, elmo singing #5 song and the crows singing.I'm sure as she gets older this be one of her favorite dvds.I usually play it twice back to back because I enjoy her smiles when she reacts to the songs. I HIGH RECOMMEND THIS DVD. I'm going to purchase another one so she will have one at her home.

Who doesn’t love Eric and Benny the Rabbit?
My older kids watched this as kids and I loved it so much I had to replace for the youngest. They learn numbers and learn how to be “responsible” using numbers.

More Sesame fun!
Ernie helps some monsters who run the local hotel (The Furry Arms). He shows them how numbers and counting can make their jobs easier and help their guests (keys with room numbers etc). With the help of a rabbit bell hop who brings different items according to how many times the bell is dinged, Ernie explores counting in an increasingly crowded hotel. My 2 year old loves it and I find it amusing too.In general I would say Sesame Street is AWESOME - my daughter although quite recently 2 now recognises/names all her letters and numbers in the right order. I prefer the actual 1hr long programmes but the video series is good, eespecially this video!

Who knew Ernie was such a trouble maker?
These DVD are just as pleasurable for the parents as for the tots! My little guy loves this video. The songs are catchy, the Muppets/puppets have great characters - yes even the surly rat bellhop.Above and beyond the obvious counting lessons to be learned here, there are many many great tactics taught to little ones. They learn how to make work easier by using skills available, how to deal with not so nice people and how to do research! One thing I didn't know was that Sesame Street is completely non-profit. All proceeds go to help children around the world enjoy the wonderful and proven learning techniques these programs has to offer. So, now I can buy a DVD that my son loves and get the pleasure of knowing I'm doing good for someone else.

Creating little Einsteins?
Great fun and learning tool for the little ones, whilst also being very entertaining. It's the only time I allowed the little ones to watch TV (at that age) so I purchased the full range of DVD's. Good quality but took a while to arrive. Was fun and exciting in my days too and is one of the rare things of my time that can be handed down to todays new generation and be just as greatly appreciated, received and valued. Also makes a great present for those with little ones.. who may have forgot.
