What are the chips made out of? Clay or plastic? And is their metal on the inside?

I returned that set as the case came broken. I ordered instead another set, same brand, i think. Not sure if they're clay but the chips are heavy so I think it's metal. Maybe it's the 300 Da Vinci, I'm not sure. But the set I kept does have more chips than this. Beware of damaged case with this one!
