Loctite 495 Super Bonder 442-49550 1oz Instant Adhesive, Clear Color

I've been using this glue in an industrial complex for years at my work. It is the greatest stuff ever! I had authorization to take some home with me and I've been using it for everything. Sometimes in the middle of model building, I use it as a great cheat. You often run into some issues where a part doesn't want to cooperate with you. So using this glue helps makes things go a little bit quicker. There are some cases when a piece doesn't want to hold and this is the stuff to do it! It's an all basic all-purpose glue that you can use it for everything and it works great! Just downright awesome and the only stuff in the world for glue!

This is a very good super glue. 4 stars cuz of the price. Will buy again only when I need the SUPER GLUE type.

It’s way better than the store bought

I bought this to repair a piece that broke off of my wife’s wheelchair. To my surprise it worked great.

Great adhesive but costly. However, once it cures worry no more.

The pic may show a bottle of 495, but what I received is CERTAINLY NOT! 495 comes with a threaded twist-off lid, this came with the 1/4 turn style that I'm used to on 416. 495 sets up within seconds. This stuff took at least 20 minutes to stop being tacky. I specifically ordered 495 as I use it at work and am impressed with 495's ability. What I received does not have the performance of what I ordered. This says Henkel India and has a goofy triangle logo on the front label. My 495 at work does not have that, it looks like the bottle pictured in the listing. It did what I bought it to do, and I've used it on other small projects, but it is not what I ordered or wanted. I'm guessing it's 416 in a 495 package. If you're looking for true 495, look somewhere else, this is not it!

I first used this for an industrial purpose. I needed to glue aluminum heat sinks to computer chips, both plastic and ceramic. I ran a test of about 10 various other glues. This was the only one that withstood my shock test - a hard whack on the side. I now use it for everything.The container is really great too. Easy to use and the cap prevents it from drying out, even sitting around - in one case- for years. Though after several years it lost a lot of its strength and didn't set well. Use within a couple of years.
