I purchased these lights for my 13-year-old daughter. She wanted something to hand around her bunk bed so that her room was not so dark at night. She loves the fact that it has a remote control and she can change the color of the lights. The lights themselves are pretty small (each light is about the size of a quarter), but is perfect for what we needed them for. Very classy looking as well. It is powered by a USB connection, so you will need to have a USB plug (not included).There is one quirk... It has some kind of optical illusion effect when you look at the lights. For instance, when the lights are on an amber color, if you shift your eyes from left to right quickly, the lights appear to cast red and blue shadows. It's a bit freaky for me, but my daughter loves it anyway. I am not sure if it has the same effects with the other colors. If you look at the lights straight on you do not see this effect. It is only when you move your eyes quickly. (I saw a few other reviewers comment on this and just assumed they were smoking pot or something... This, however, is a real thing! The lights do have this strange effect.)She had been begging me for a couple of weeks now to buy these lights for her. Now that I finally got them she has moved on to bigger and better things. She now wants a PONY!! (The adventures of parenting!)

The media could not be loaded. These lights are beautiful! The bulbs are a heavyweight plastic that I can’t see being harmed easily. They sparkle so beautifully and I’m loving it! They have a very good weight to them and worked perfectly for my breezeway window, measurement wise. Might be slightly smaller then the 16 feet listed but not by much. The video shows a breezeway that’s 4ft top 4ft bottom and about 3.5 each side. The length of plug end cord is very sizable so you don’t have to be right next to a plug-in with this set! The remote is amazing as well. Works from a very good distance. Has many different speed settings and color options. I want to keep this light set up year around now! Pink or red for Valentine’s Day, green for st Patrick’s day, Red or green for December and everything in between! So many options! Fade, Jump options and a timer! Highly recommending this light set! I’m wholly impressed! I need to buy at least one more set! This would be beautiful as tree lights too, stunning!EDIT: November 18, 2021 Tree photo of our Alpine style tree (also from Amazon) with the same strand of 50 lights. This is a “six foot” tree, though tbh it’s not measuring that tall. The lights get used for St Patrick's day and Valentine’s Day decorations and this year as our tree lights! This one strand of 50 fit the tree like you see. We’ll probably keep it green, but the nice thing is that you can change it up when ever! Still highly recommended for any time of year!!

We do a lot of primitive glamping and I wanted to try these out to replace the regular plug-in string lights we've been using the past few years. They were AMAZING. We set up not long before dark and it was so great to have lighting immediately on hand without waiting for the generator to be unloaded and set up. We got tons of compliments. The colors are excellent too.... lots of pastel/tertiary colors, not just primary and secondary colors. We LOVED the "ASYN FADE" setting. It's super pretty while still creating a very comfortable, steady, ambient light you can see well in.The cord is MUCH nicer than standard string lights... lighter, thinner, more flexible, and less noticeable. Much easier to untangle and handle than regular string lights, too. Clipping them around the inside perimeter of the tent took less than half the time and effort our old string lights did.The smaller/lighter cord mean these pack smaller and lighter than standard string lights. Will save me a bunch of space in our deco bin.Cons: Absolutely nothing!!! I'm ordering 3 more sets as soon as I post this review. Couldn't recommend these more highly.

Gave these as a gift and she loves them! A different light show every night. Beautiful!

They work as described and are pretty. One bulb flickers between colors on its own. I can not figure out how to fix it.

My daughter loves these lights! We have them in her room above her reading corner and they are very bright and colorful. There are many different color options that are controlled by the remote control. We were impressed with the color selections and with the overall brightness, especially for the cost. Great value for money!

These lights are great with one minor exception: the special features won't work if you have them set on one color. The fading, chasing, and jumping only works on the multicolor setting. I should have checked more closely.That being said, they do a great job with providing a low level of life that isn't hard on the eyes, and it is rather fun to watch the different colors change in a variety of ways.

Daughters like this so much more than the battery lights.

Perfect LONG string of lights. They look and are high quality. Tons of pretty settings from bright vibrant colours to lighter pastel like colours. I enjoy the light, slow fade setting.

Very bright

I have been using for a year now outdoors on our deck protected from the rain and they still work great! I set the timer and they come on same time everyday never skip a beat. They are very bright with lots of colors to choose from. I recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. Elles sont très jolie. Un choix de 15 couleur. On peut plusieurs modèles, soit clignote rapidement, lentement, multicolore ou seulement une couleur. Le choix que moi je préfère est qu'il y a 2 couleurs qui s'allument à la fois, elles alternent toute les couleurs. Les mixtes de couleur sont de bons choix. Le seul besoin qu'on a c'est de les allumer et les programmée avec soit 4,6 ou 8 heures allumé. Alors je les ai programmé et elles s'allument et s'éteindent toute seule. Les couleurs sont vraiment belles. Je les recommande fortement . Je n'aurais pas pu faire meilleur achat.Étant donné que la prise est USB j'ai protégé mon connecteur pour ne pas que l'eau s'infiltre.
