A Great Weeknight (Or Anytime!) Cookbook!
I have been a big fan of Mr. Food for over 25 years and my mom and I both have a few of his cookbooks. I saw this book, Guilt-Free Weeknight Favorites, featured on QVC but came to Amazon.com and found it for a few dollars less and decided to order it here instead. I have really enjoyed this cookbook! Like all of Mr. Food's recipes, the list of ingredients for every recipe found here (there are over 150 recipes here) is not a long one. The instructions are all easy and the recipes are fairly short in preparation time, since it's a weeknight cookbook and most of us are limited on time. Each recipe has serving suggestions and the info for calories, fast, sodium, cholesterol, etc. as well as diabetic exchanges. This book is also endorsed by the American Diabetes Association. A big plus for me is that there is a photo of each finished recipe.Some of my favorite recipes that are delicious and easy to make are the Beefed-Up Empanadas, Rustic Peasant Soup and Little Italy Pork Marsala. Each recipe I've tried is delicious and it's good to know that they are lower in calories, fat, cholesterol, etc. I highly recommend this cookbook.

Wonderful, easy & lots of pictures!
I have a cookbook from 'Mr. Food' & like it but had tried many of his recipes in it--needed a new one. (Ordered a different authors' cookbook & sent it right back--hard to follow & no real index or pictures) So ordered this Mr. Food's cookbook & love it! Haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but reading through--Yum! And he has a great index, easy to follow recipes (which I need!) & lots of pictures. Also I like his little 'help' comments.

The quality of the book I purchased exceeded my expectations. The recipes are DELICIOUS and HELATHY! I have recommended this book to my family and friends. I recommend it to YOU too!

I gave 4 stars because I haven't tried the recipes yet but I like the easy recipes
I just got this cookbook and haven't tried any of the recipes yet. There's a lot my hubby and I want to try though, and can't wait to see how these lower calorie favorites taste. I gave 4 stars because I haven't tried the recipes yet but I like the easy recipes, nutritional facts and the small picture of almost all the recipes. I think there was only 5 (maybe) without a picture.

My go to cookbook!
My husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes last year and I wasn't sure how I was going to feed him. I started searching for cookbooks to help and ran across this gem. It is so awesome! The meals are super easy to make, they taste great and they contain nutritional information to help ensure we are counting his carbs properly. I have and would recommend this book to others even if they don't have diabetes.

Good Food Anticipated from These Recipes
As someone who enjoys lighter meals just because I generally prefer that kind of eating, and not because I am on a diet, I am very pleased with the recipes I see in this cookbook. I just received the book about three days ago, and after perusing these delicious looking recipes, I've already bookmarked about 25 dishes that I want to try. Most recipes are accompanied by beautiful photographs of the finished dish and for me that is important.

Nice Enjoyable Cookbook!
I haven't tried the recipes yet but I certainly intend to. All look delicious and I am picking up som groceries the next time I shop and will put them to good test. I have purchased another Mr. Food book and liked it also........I don't think you will not be disappointed. Excellent price as cookbooks go!
