Energizer Recharge Universal Rechargeable D Batteries (2 Pack), D Cell Batteries

We purchased these originally almost 9 years ago for a baby swing that we didn't want to keep buying new batteries for. Still have them and use them regularly with the most recent baby. We need three batteries for the swing and originally had enough for 2 "sets" so we'd always have some charged and ready to go. At some point we lost 1 battery and no longer had enough for our 2 sets anymore so purchased new ones again. Now I can say that the new ones do tend to last a little longer than the old ones, but it's only by an hour or so. The old ones will still last for a good 5 or 6 hours of straight use. In my opinion, that's pretty dang good for a product almost a decade old. And they're all being charged with the original charger we purchased almost 9 years ago now too. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone looking to save money on batteries over the long term. Another thing to be noted though is it's very easy to tell the difference between the new and old just by looking at them. Whatever the "label" is that covers these tends to fray at the tops so they don't look very pretty anymore after so many years of use and abuse. This was also the case with the AA's we had also gotten so long ago.

Better than none recharge but doesn’t work for long periods

I wish everyone would use rechargeable batteries. I have been using them for decades and have never had to replace them. These D batteries are used for a flashlight. The AA and AAA are great for remotes. They are easy to charge and re-use.

I count not believe this battery could only hold 1.2 volts. I was always taught batteries were 1.5 volts. Not Here!!! Battery can be charged in a few hours in a correct charger. Overtime the battery will pay for itself. Not a true fan of either rechargeable C or D batteries.

I purchased these batteries to run a small RV fridge fan (see pic). They came "pre-charged" according to the packaging, but lasted only a couple days before the fan quit. I was underwhelmed and disappointed, to say the least. I re-charged them fully and after charging they lasted about two weeks of running the little fan 24/7. They don't last nearly as long as a standard D-Cell, but I'm still happy with a 2-week runtime in a cold fridge! UPDATE: After numerous re-chargings, these batteries now run the little fan for 10 days per charge

Bought these a while ago and only just now needed them when my last old D cells in a clock died. The first thing I noticed was the weight, it was too light. Good rechargeable AA batteries are usually heavier than alkaline. But these rechargeable D cells felt like nothing compared to the old D cell. Then I checked the packaging and noticed it said 2500 mAh. Most of my rechargeable AA are at least 2000mAh. This is a cheap attempt at rechargeable D cell. It's worse than putting a AA into a plastic case to make a D cell. At least there, you can pop out the AA and use it for other things. It's horrible for a name brand like Energizer to do this. And the per-cell price is worse - as much as real rechargeable D cells with 10,000 mAh from other decent brands. I’ve had these since August and I noticed a big change. At first, it held a good charge, but that quickly changed and will only hold a charge for about a week. Now it’s barely a week. It’s really aggravating going up and down the ladder for that nightlight too often. My mom is not young, and I’m not that young anymore… so, for anyone of my age and older to keep going up and down, the ladder is ridiculous, and I wish this thing could just hold a damn charge. I expected better out of this brand.

Produit qui fonctionne bien. Il faut toutefois savoir qu'une pile rechargeable dure moins longtemps qu'une autre, mais environnemental parlant c'est mieux.
