Good Remote ID Tags but Poor Picking/Packing Quality Control
Six Fluke Remote ID Tag supplied all work fine. Just one issue they were supposed to be ID2, ID3, ID4, ID5, ID6, ID7 But when the packet was opened ID2, ID3, ID3, ID5, ID6, ID6 Good product but could do better when picking the items to put in the bag

This tool is a real time-saver for installers, but it does come with a hefty price tag. Then again, it’s a Fluke product—premium quality comes with the brand. That said, as others have pointed out, the RJ45 tab feels flimsy and will likely break over time. It’s disappointing that Fluke didn’t design the tab with a bit more protection for durability. Overall, it’s a solid accessory, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the design.

Typical overpriced Fluke accessory. What you see is what you get. The design is a little hazardous in a busy environment as it sticks far out of the jack but makes it easier to not forget. The real disappointment here is that the plastic RJ45 tab is not better protected and just as flimsy as a cheap cable. Counting down the days until the tabs break off sadly.

I don’t like having an RJ45 end like this. If the clip breaks you’re screwed. Now if you had an end you plug a patch cord into would be much easier. If the patch cord goes bad replace it with another. If the clip breaks or end gets damaged then you can’t repair. Costing 50.00 a piece is a bit much especially with the flaws just pointed out.
