GoGo Tuners TT-1 Clip-On Chromatic Tuner

I was in desperate need of a tuner for my acoustic guitar and after tons of research it came down to two tuners. It was between this one and the Snark. Obviously, with the brand name of Snark (including the fact that I have never heard of them) I was very skeptical of it's quality and why the product was being offered so cheap. After reading many review on the matter, I saw many reviews complained about how the Snark couldn't really pick up the low E on guitar very well. For a tuner, I find this completely unacceptable no matter how cheap the product is. That is why I decided to go for the GoGo. I read many reviews on this tuner and almost all of them were very positive, I actually don't even remember reading any negative reviews.The two modes are very convenient, though I find myself using the piezo mode more because I feel like it is more accurate.I heartily recommend this tuner!!!!

I own a Boss TU-70 and a Polytune app on my iPod. I'm very picky about tuners and accuracy. Until now, I would never think of buying a clip on tuner because they just are not very accurate. This is a brand new product and it rocks! It is very accurate, well made and it can be adjusted in every direction so it can easly be seen no matter where you clip it. There is a good demo of this tuner on Youtube, check it out. I bought this tuner after watching that video. I don't even use my other tuners anymore and it's awesome not to have to use a cable to hook up my tuner to my guitar.

WE bought it while we were in the USA -- once back in Australia when we started to use it we found it was faulty -- apart from having some sort of coating over the whole thing( Like it had never been completely finished in manufacture) we find the battery goes flat quickly whether it is turned off or not -- we have to take the battery out after we use it to preserve the batteries -- we issued a complaint but have had no helpful response.Piece of junk. Bad service.

When I first handled this tuner I figured it would be broken before long, but I've dropped this thing several times and it keeps on working. I won't go into detail, but it is very easy to use, and I can use it on drop tunings and for other instruments. The original battery lasted a long time, and the tuner has an automatic shutoff. I also checked it against other good tuners and it is accurate. Somehow I've collected about a half dozen tuners and this is my favorite clip-on. For the price I rate it a five.Waddie

I hate to be the one to create the only negative review of this product. Got the tuner for Christmas, worked great for a few days, then I tried tuning another one of my guitars the battery died 1/2 way through. I replaced the battery worked prefect,a week or so later I checked the tuning on my guitar again the battery died. Returned to Amazon for credit. The best tuner I ever had when it worked.(It had to be me that got the bad one) I may reorder at a later date. Amazon is really great on costumer service.

I use strobe tuners in my studio and workshop, but little clip-on tuners are convenient for gigs, jam sessions, and group classes. So, I've owned and tried a lot of them. The Go Go TT-1 was the one I was most happy with due to its easy to read display along with good accuracy. However, it failed after only a few weeks. So, I could not let my earlier 5 star review stand. I do hope the manufacturer solves this durability problem.When it worked, I preferred the TT-1 to my chromatic Snark, but the Snark is still going strong and is more compact. Although the Petersen Strobo Clip tuner is bulkier and more costly, it is my favorite for accuracy and ability to fine tune. I rely on it when accuracy is important.

I owned a Snark tuner prior to the GoGo and much prefer the GoGo. Extremely accurate and I find it much easier to tune my guitar. (Notice it says it's accurate to within .5 cents whereas the Snark gives no mention of its accuracy which leads me to believe it's not very proud of the number). The only negative is that getting the battery door off was a real pain in the butt. If it wasn't for that I'd have given it 5 stars.

Davey, Dee and myself agree - this is not as good as the Snark.

Its done everything I expected it to do so far and to my ears is accurate. Clear display and clear indication of in-tune or not. The chromatic setting was the main reason for buying it. I leave it on the chromatic setting as this allows me to check the tuning whether using a capo or playing open strings. The bright orange is a bit in your face but it means you're less likely to leave it behind at the end of a gig. In mic mode it will even tell you what a note is if you sing it! Once set up, for everyday use you just turn it on and use it as it keeps the settings.I have tried a couple of other people's Snarks when playing in pubs and their batteries always seem to be on the way out so the display is hard to read - time will tell how well the battery lasts on the TT-1. The battery tray is not a problem if you are used to replacing batteries in similar gizmos, however although the instructions tell you "to observe the correct polarity on the battery", they don't tell you which way that is. Its +ve facing up btw.Update a year from purchase - in regular use, not had to replace batteries yet.

If anybody is in the market for a tuner go no further than the GoGo Tuners. Very well made and it does the job better than any tuners that I have had in the past. Customer service is very efficient and extremely helpful.All in all a very good product.
