Very useful with tweens and teens
I got this book to use for a homeschool unit on resiliency and mental health with my 11, 14, and 14 year olds. I thought it was really useful and sparked good discussions. It is meant for a teen to work through on their own, and I think it would be good for that as well with a self-motivated teen. How we used it is: I would read the informational and instructional part and we would discuss as a group and give personal examples. Then each kid would fill out the work pages on their own. I gave them privacy and only had them share what they had written if they wanted to. Even though they made fun of the activities on several occasions, I still think it was a really good resource and they heard and thought about the information.
