This wood shine comes in a 4fl.oz. bottle and when applied it does add some waterproof protection and makes dull wood shine but it is not overly glossy. I have been using it on some small woodturnings such as pens and such and it does look nice. I wish it listed the ingredients more so I would know how it would react in the future if someone uses something else on the object or if I want to touch up something that isn't unfinished.

I originally got this to try on some very worm gun stocks. It did such a beautiful job I decide to try it on my grandpa's old desk I inherited. It looks amazing, and the wood came back to life so beautiful, the wood grain just pops now with vibrant color and detail. Grandpa would be happy to see his desk look so nice and well kept. I will be using this on everything around the house. Once you use it on one thing everything else looks tired and dull and you want to keep doing more and more areas!

When I bought this, I did not know that it was specifically aimed at firearms. I had planned to try it on a couple of wooden jewelry boxes that I had. I used a small cloth and rubbed a small amount onto the boxes. It brought out the beauty of the wood (oak) and shines without being overly glossy. I recommend it for woodworking projects.

My husband used this wood shine on our kitchen table. It really made it shine! He said it was easy to use but did smell a little funky. I didn't notice any smell.
