L.A. Girl L.a. girl lip primer, 0.043 Pound

This is a great lip primer ! I used to use the NYX Lip Primer pencil. That one would leave lips almost tacky-ish but this one is a lot more slick-ery, so I waited a few minutes after applying this LA Girl Lip Primer before putting on the NYX Lip Liner in Burgundy color that I always use instead of a traditional lipstick. I used this LA Girl primer, then NYX Burgundy lip liner and then Burts Bees lip balm. 5-6 hours later the lip liner was still intact on the whole area that I originally applied it, not just an old outline of color. I recommend this product, it has exceeded my expectations and out performed other brands that I have used.

I LOVE this under my most matte liquid lip sticks! At first you think it's far to slick (almost oily?) and I'd keep trying to blot some off and accidentally end up taking it all off lol but I finally just let it be and applied my lipstick on top and let it fully settle and set and they wore beautifully! A very light layer works well with super matte bullet lipsticks! Only thing I'll say is lightly wet your lips before you apply this so it'll encapsulate some moisture underneath 😉

This does the exact same thing for my lips as the more expensive product that I will NEVER buy, again!

LA Girl lip primer was terrible and useless. It’s like it was designed to prime your lipstick to fly off your lips. Faster than if you had no primer on whatsoever. And I don’t have unusual skin or oily skin. Worse yet, I trusted it Wood work and wore on a first date. Result: I had a lip liner outline with a blurry colorful mess within the lip liner and then largely bare lip with some color in between the little lines. I looked like a sad clown in a pretty dress.

I just don't understand why their product description says your lipstick won't smudge or budge. Lies! Sure it's good for softening your lips, but beyond that, you should buy something else.

One thing I hate is putting on lipstick and then taking a sip of something and my lipstick coming off. This is a lifesaver. Or should I say lipstick saver. I put it on then put my lipstick on and my lipstick stays on all day and I’m the type of person who licks their lips a lot and it still stays on. I have bought this several times already and will keep on buying it as long as they keep on making it.

I bought this for a really pale blue lipstick that I was excited to wear. It didn't have enough pigment to look like anything on my lips, so I was hoping this would lay down a base layer. It doesn't. It's basically chapstick. And it doesn't stay on for long either. Who knows? Maybe it'll work for you.

Ok the product is GREAT..but I have a low rating, because the container barely had ANY product in it..I only could get a tiny bit, by using a bobby-pin to dig the stuff out of the tube!! BIT, the small bit I was able to use was WONDERFUL! So I am ordering another one…and hope the new one is ok.

Even if you only wind up a tiny bit it breaks and falls off easily, disappointed

This is good lip primer for a matte lipstick. It’s a matte indeed. It is better than NYX brand. I was a nyx user before but now I switch to any brand that it suits my budget.
