H. R. Giger's Film Design

I gave the book to my son as a gift. He was very happy to receive it. I looked at the book before giving it to him, and I thought the illustrations and the essays were awesome. Excellent choice for my boy.

This is the ultimate art book on H.R. Giger's contribution to film. I found out about films that I never knew Giger was involved in. Definitely a must buy for Giger fans. H. R. Giger's Film Design

My brother has always loved the Alien movie series, and anything to do with it. He was stoked about this book. The condition of the item was as described, and the shipping methods were eco friendly and a good fit/good protection for the book. Seller reccommended.

H.R. Giger studied architecture before he decided he wanted to be a full time artist. But his backround helped him in his art as you will see. Everything he draws, paint or build is perfect. And his airbrush technique is so unique, he should make a DVD on how he does it! In this book you can read how he got his ideas for movies like Poltergeist, Alien and Species. And also other foreign and unrealized movies. (I think his Dune would have brought exciting nightmares!)

I can't say much about the contents, brought this book for someone who admires Giger's work, she does special effects for films and I thought this to be the ideal Christmas present, book is very big

Se lo compré a un amigo de regalo y me he quedado con ganas de comprar otro para mi. Un buen libro, lleno de ilustraciones, fotos, un poco de comentarios, biografía, etc... muy completo. Incluye el material tanto de Alíen como de otras sus obras.

Achei muito bom o livro para se ter ideias de efeitos que se pode aplicar na criação de gravuras e cenários, mas você não achará muitas imagens passíveis de uma cópia para se colocar de decoração.
