Denise Logan's Amazing Art Projects for Children Spiral-bound – January 1, 2012

I bought this art project book for my homeschool art class. It has 23 projects with detailed instructions step by step, list of materials needed for the each project. We just did first project on the book today. Both 10 years old and 7 years old had fun time to painting. While the book offers several student examples, each kids paint their own unique picture following the technique taught. I can't wait trying next project from this book with my kids.

I love Denise Logan, and if I ever get a chance to meet her, I'm going to hug her. I purchased her "Dynamic Art Projects for Kids" first, and used quite a few projects from it. I was so happy to find out she made an earlier book!When I got this one in the mail, I was NOT disappointed! Just like the other book, it's chock-full of ideas, and each one has great instructions and photos.I hope she makes another book soon!

Fantastic, if complicated projects. Results are often stunning. I get more use out of her first book "Dynamic Art Projects For Children", and there is too much repetition of method in the second book to make it worthwhile to buy both.

I think this book is better than a similar book by this author. This one has better step by step instructions and color photos that are very easy to follow. This will work perfectly for classroom.

This book is full of wonderful art lessons. Each lesson is presented step by step making planning easy. Many of the lessons enable children to learn about the art of various world cultures and the provision of templates to help is most helpful. This was a most worthwhile purchase.

What we love about Denise Logan's books is that she makes art doable for families with no formal art training. My children (and I!) have produced some amazing pieces, "wall worthy," by using her books. I would highly recommend them, and wish she would write some more!

Fab lessons with great hand outs! 20 year art teacher vet loves this book! Multicultural art lessons are thoughtful and engaging.
