Sturdy book ends.
Not much to look at but very practical, being all metal they support heavy books extremely well and because they are thin they cause no damage to the bottom of the books, so recommended for their functionality.

...add book ends. Near instant tidiness.Basic bent tin finished in white.By far the most effective way to keep books or any other regular shape under control.A definite classic design and very useful on any flat surface.

They do not work of shiny shelves.
They look fine and are solid but lighter than expected.However they do NOT work.They do not tip over as the book weight prevents this. However the base is so shiny so that on most modern shelf surfaces, which are also shiny the bookend just slides sideways until the books fall flat.
