Update: I put it on my other shower and it works great. The shower head has a slower flow rate than the rain fall shower head I added, I recommend this product. Still 5 stars. I’m giving 5 stars because the product looks great, feels sturdy and works as it should. However, the flow rate I experience for draining was not good, and I believe it isn’t the products fault. I have a new rainfall shower head which I believe produces too much water. The product catches the hair perfectly even when it pools, but I had to go with a bigger version to fit over top of the drain. Please see photos attached. Keep in mind if you have a drain like mine and/or a rainfall shower head, you may need a bigger version of this product, other than that, amazing.

LOVE this. I actually had an umbra silicon star fish one a year earlier, and that worked well. For a women with long hair who sheds a lot, I really did not want to clog my drain. Unfortunately, for the umbra silicon one, it got dirty on the bottom, probably about 5 months in, and it was absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even look at it when I threw it away in the trash. I considered buying another one, but I didn't want to go through the same thing over again. So, I was looking for a bathtub drain that could 1. fit my bathtub drain, 2. wouldn't move around, 3. required less maintenance on my end to clean, and 4. could fit over my drain which is NOT a pop up. It was actually hard to find one for some reason, and then I stumbled on this. When I found it at the time, it was out of stock, and not prime shipping, but it was free shipping. So, when someone did have it in stock, I jumped and bought it. Waited 2 weeks (long if you're a prime member), and was so happy it fit perfectly. If you have high pressure water going directly at it though, it will move initially, but once you move it back in, it shouldn't move the rest of the time. The water flows nicely and quickly (unless all my hair blocks it), it catches my hair, and prevents my pipes from being clogged. Definitely, worth the buy.

Works great, only compliant is that it'd be a tad bit bigger. But it did collect all my hair and didnt move while I took my shower. Would recommend

I've been using this for over a year and it's the best drain catcher I've used yet. I had the type that go into the drain, either the standard crumb-catcher styles or the mushroom-style ones. This one is less dependent on the size of your drain, which I like, and doesn't require me to do anything more than wipe the top of it with a tissue to get all the hair on top. It forms a good seal with the drain, too.

So easy to pull hair off of, looks nice, stays in place.

Doesn’t stay in place. The product implies it stays in place. It doesn’t grip, you will have to constantly move it back over the drain.

I have been using this in place of the cork style drain cover for about a month. Things I describe may be raw and unfiltered: Pros: - quality seems very good, it looks the same as when it was new (as long as you wash it off) - water flows into the holes well even with full force of water gushing down. - the silicon edges keeps the protector in place. Even if you pour water straight down on it, it will not move. It will move if u push it with your toes, however, it requires substantial amount of force. It has a lot of gripping power. - amazing hair trap, it will collect every single hair on top. Cons: I don't know about you guys, but when I take shower, I spit, blow my nose, and put a lot of strain on these protector. It will get very dirty fast and.. - the holes will get clogged relatively quickly depending on how much gunk output you will exert on them. - when holes get filled up with hair and especially gunk, water will stop flowing through and you'll see the water level start to rise. (I think it takes about a week to get fully clogged.) Bonus: I want to mention that if you are lazy, you'll end up doing this: - move the protector to the side that you'll get some opening for water to flow through, then reseal after you are done. - what happens is that, as you don't clean the protector, the gunk will dry as you sleep through the night (nasty) - new gunk settles along with hair (hair gets embedded into the gunk), then it will dry again. - becomes very hard to clean it. Conclusion: Don't be lazy and maintain your drain protector daily after every shower.

Mais quel super produit, j'en avais ma claque de devoir déboucher ma baignoire à cause des cheveux qui s'accumulaient dans le siphon. Avec ce filtre, ma baignoire ne se bouche plus et en plus il est super facile de retirer les impuretés. Il peut glisser de son logement car il n'y a pas d'effet ventouse mais il se replace facilement.

The best drain protector I've ever bought. It grips well to my tub and works perfectly with medium/long hairs. With shorter hairs I'm not so sure, but that's not why I got it for. The drain protector doesn't change much of the drainage speed as others and it's very easy to clean! I liked it so much I got another on for my kitchen sink, it's a great product.

Second and third purchase. This works great and fits well but only if you shed moderate amount of hair when bathing. The drain does flow slower than if you use it but it might be marginal depending on your shower flow.
