Ambassador Marine Sink Drain with Brushed Finish and Strainer Basket

Contrary to the specs, which claim it will fit a 2" drain, it will not fit the 2" drain hole of a Dometic VA7306AC sink. Had to send it back.

Fits my ambassador 9 1/2” sink perfectly! I love the large bore hole as nothing gets stuck in the drain. I have it in my box trailer conversion RV. I’m so happy with this set! :))

Quality drain. I removed the riser to obtain an even lower profile, but I had to shorten the center screw in the drain to do so. I used this in my Scamp trailer. For the drain hose, I used a dishwasher drain line with the 1" rubber slip on end and clamped with hose clamp. This way, I was able to form a P-trap with the flexible hose just by using a couple zip ties.

This strainer can probably be removed without the little tab but for $30, you would think this drain would be a little higher quality... I'm sure I can exchange the item, but that's a lot of time and effort I didn't want to spend on this. Otherwise, the item is as described.

This sink and drain worked well in my van conversion. small enough to fit in as an after thought.
