Pleasantly surprised
Snake food for my baby bought off Amazon??Actually, it's excellent. They are a company called Layne Labs and the rats I bought were so high quality that they're now in my top 2 ofvendors for when I can't get to a trade show to get them cheaply (2020...).They came in a zippered bag as seen in the pic. Packed in insulation and dry ice as I'd expect. The price on amazon reflects the shipping costs. Clean, plump, and obviously well cared for critters. No issues while feeding. If I needed more than one bag id be much better off going to their website and ordering from there to save on shipping. But I only have the one reptile that needs rodents and I had some credit card points to spend. So for anyone hesitating: no worries! Your milage may vary but my ball python loves her new food! And we all know how picky they can be...

My snake didn’t like it
My snake doesn’t like these had to switch back to another brand that’s a bit more pricey (that’s why I tried out this brand because the price was a bit better) she took all 20 of the last brand with no fuss. The rats itself didn’t seem old when they arrived but after a couple days the eyes on the rats looked different, coulda been my freezer being colder I’m not really sure. But I had to dump all of these rats my snake just wouldn’t eat them I tried different rats from the bag and she would just leave them there.
