Excellent. Sharp.
Excellent set of chisels. Very sharp out of the box. Will still sharpen sometime soon, but trust me when I say you can use them right away. I wasn't expecting this kinf of quality for the price, but they are worth every penny. I highly recommend these.

Great tool box for single woman or the all around father/ husband.
I purcahse this tool box for my husband, the apperance is givng Bob th builder at first glance there are tools in there that I cannot name. This tool box can be very functional for a single woman as well, the case is very durable. Once con the tools do not stay in place, once you open the box they will be all over the place. The tools are easy to use and I also love the little cute hammer in the box.

Great Product
These where a great product to own and use. I bought these about a year ago and have used them probably at least 100 times and have had no problems whats so ever out of them. The sharpening stone was great and also the guide was very useful when it comes to sharpening them. I am still using them to this day. I would definitely buy this product again.

Sharp and good quality
Purchased these for a project chiseling into 2x4’s. The chisels I used cut through them with ease. All came very sharp and ready to use. These should be my go to for any wood working project for quite awhile. The steel is solid and when the time comes they should sharpen on the grinding wheel. I would not hesitate to purchase these again in the future. Very good product

Great chisel set, With a warranty, slight case issue.
Don't we all just love Kool tools? I'm no exception. as far as wood chisels go, after this set won't need to buy a new one. The set comes with a warranty. A card with QR code for the registration is in the box. A honing stone, chisel holder, and a couple carpenter pencils are in there as well.Don't know if I can say it here but going to anyway. I bought this set because of the "Stumpy Nubs Woodworking Channel" on YouTube. His biggest point about the chisel set is that the the Steel Cap on the handle goes all the way down to the working end. I have to say this, you won't believe the case. It just FEELS solid. Yes it's plastic, but it protects the tools. The only downside is that the 25 and 32 mm chisels, yes metric system again, they end up loose in the box when I open it. If that's the worst thing I'll take it. Can add leather straps with snaps, or even make a wood case with all of my spare time. Or use a heat gun on a piece of round stock, same diameter, warm it up a little and press, just for a couple seconds to reshape that spot. Yes I banter, been told TMI. The ONE and ONLY negative thing about this kit is livable, and can be corrected with all of the creative energy of people who buy and USE this stuff, not an issue.

A Novice Needed to Notch some Door Frames
I know nothing about woodworking, but I needed to put some notches into some doorframes to install some locks that would not fit. I bought this set since it was very affordable. The quality on these things is really great. The handles are thick, dense rubber and somehow don't make my hand sweaty. The metal is heavy and sturdy. They were SHARP, seriously sharp. . . don't drop the large heavy one on your foot, you might lose a toe. But in less than 10 minutes with my hammer, I had successfully notched the door frame and overcome my fear of destroying my home. . . . Afterwards, the blades (or whatever you call them) didn't have a mark on them and the metal strike caps were only a bit scratched. So this set is perfect for a small project or novice user that doesn't need a large or extensive amount of tools.

Some pros, some cons…overall?
Alright, where to start. Two chisels came “loose” in the case, one with its end cap off and a slight chip on the edge. These come heavily oiled for protection so remove that before sharpening. And you will need to sharpen them but abandon the stone that comes with. It’s way too rough on both sides for a sharp chisel. Get a decent chef’s stone (pretty cheap) with one side at 1000 grit. Alright. On to the case. It’s sturdy and bulky. Decent blow mold case. The fit and finish on the handles is pretty poor. One of mine is barely readable so quality control standards aren’t super high. (See pic). As for the edges themselves, out of the box they are dull, coarse and rolled edges. They need a real good sharpening. The honing tool isn’t terrible but again, a decent stand alone honing tool is better. One of my chisels had a very bad angle to the cutting edge (see picture). It took some grinding but it was fixable. Now on to the good. For the price, if you are willing to keep them sharp, these are a decent beater set. Don’t go thinking you are Paul Sellers with them, but they will chisel out a door frame very well. There are no instructions so look up sharpening techniques before you go nuts and ruin the edge more.Pros:cost. Got these at a lightening deal of $35 and that’s a good price for a wide range of sizes.Decent steel: time will tell but so far they seem to sharpen well and hold an edge.Honing tool: decent quality but lacks instructions.Cons:Fit and finish: There just isn’t much for quality control. My set looked like it should have been taken off the line before going out for sale.Dull and poorly ground: These aren’t just dull, the edge isn’t ground to 90 degrees perpendicular to the heft of the blade. Lots of sharpening and straightening is needed to make em right.Sharpening stone is very very coarse: there is a place for a super coarse stone but sharpening chisels isn’t it. Abandon it for a better stone right away.
